Characters and personalities that I relate to
he most likely saved my teenage years with the spot on poetry in his lyrics, telling me exactly what i needed to hear to understand and accept myself. He gave me so much of his energy, almost like he was telling me i'm supposed to matter the most and I got the message, thanks... Also made me meet wonderful people along the way that I still carry in my heart till this day.
well, she's the reason I understood i was not straight at all, and that's OK! This fucking awesome woman provided me with such confidence I can't even explain. I don't know if i wanted to be her or be hers, as a teenager! She's awesome, she wanted an only females rock band in the 70's and was able to do it... That's why she's an inspiring feminist legend.
she wasn't the most sympathetic, or the prettiest, she wasn't like everyone else, and she wouldn't mold herself to fit in... that makes Bette a legend of a woman, an absolute artist, perfect in everything she set out. from her i learnt brains matter and voices matter, and just like her "I always felt special—part of a wonderful secret. I was always going to be somebody.".
how could you not relate to roy batty? everyone is a slave in a certain way, and it's understandable the urge to break the chains. this was, probably, the first villain to gain my sympathy, and from here I could understand people are an amalgament of every fragment of experience(good or bad) they had coming from the enverionement around them, so who am I to judge a villain?
