• in most cases, i cannot release my vsqxs!! i usually work off of other people's .ust files and i cannot in good faith release something that i have not 100% built from scratch. additionally, most .ust creators ask that their files are not redistributed, even with editing, and i don't plan on breaking that rule. if i plan on releasing a file and i'm able to, i will release it in the original upload!!
• and in regards to the files i can't publicly release, i am very hesitant to privately distribute!! once the .vsqx leaves my hands, i have no way of controlling what's done with it, and while i'm all for my files being used as reference material to learn from, i can't actually ensure that once given out, they won't be used in public uploads, and i don't like the idea of my private files being used to "get an exclusive edge" on the cover game ;;
• so in short, if i can distribute a file, i will. otherwise, please do not ask unless we know each other and i can be sure the file will not be publicly used without my permission.
