- reading a whole book in practically one sitting again. the sense of accomplishment afterwards was great
- initiating a black lives matter reading group at work, the book for june chosen within days, this is a start
- seeing my mum and winfried again, sitting on their patio, eating good food (vegan potato gratin, green salad, couscous with toasted pine nuts and dried apricots, carrot salad, French tartlets)
- drawing with watercolours
- making myself bento bowls, preparing drinks in nice glass bottles from earl grey tea (with almond milk and orange sclices, respectively)
- a big jar full of self-made pesto out of left-over lettuce
- sudden heavy rain & thunder
- this wonderful cool weather, just above 20 degrees, a bit of rain. i wish it'd stay like this all summer
- the perfect consistency of waffle batter, fresh waffles
- Suits season 8 is coming to Netflix July 18th!
- my local library branch reopened and i escalataed a bit and borrowed all the lovely things (a couple of ??? cds i didn't know, an Olga Tokarczuk novel, a few cool random books, fancy new films on dvd)
- Katy named one of her plants after me: a „Korbmarante“, maranta leuconeura, because it‘s beautiful and elegant and doesn’t like direct sunlight, she says, and it has pink highlights and the backs of her leaves are fuchsia ♥
- picking cherries directly from the cherry trees and eating a few blackberries right from the vine
