- regarding the tags where i say 'desencontros' and not knowing how to properly translate it: i have described this story as a story of desencontros. i did not find a proper translation that really makes the same sense tho.... but! encontro means a meeting/encounter, and adding the des- in the front makes it the opposite. you know when you go meet someone you know somewhere but somehow you're both lost and keep walking and instead of finding each other you accidentally walk past them and miss them every time... yeah, it's that, basically. so, it's a story of non-meetings, i guess? instead of the main two characters constantly meeting each other they're constantly not meeting each other.
- regarding the plot: this idea is something that came to me back in 2017 for a different fandom but because of reasons i discarded the 3k i had back then and returned at around october 2019 by recycling the idea for an x1 fic, because i still wanted to work with that plot. after the d-word i put it into an hiatus, but i already had nearly 20k and i don't care that they're no longer a group, i wanted to keep going, but as you can notice it's quite angsty and not only i didn't want to write something like that at the moment, i didn't want to give the fandom that was already hurt some another reason to be sad. so it's here now, after a little while.
- regarding the formatting of the fic and my writing style:
- timeskips: this fic has three different time skip dividers. a horizontal line (the one that is created with <hr /> on html) means a few days/weeks passed, while three dots (…) means the two scenes happen one after the other or at the same time. more at the end there will be a time skip that will just be a very large empty space in between scenes without a divider. it means years passed.
- lapslock: this fic is written in lapslock but not completely. specific words have capitalizations, some that aren't even actually written with them if this fic had proper capital letters so it might look odd. but there is a very important and hidden reason for such thing, one that is not explicitly told in the fic but is easy to discover. i'm not telling right now because it's a secret to the characters and also i want you all to think and try to discover it. :p
