very slow-updating, will just add to this when i can think of something or whenever i am reminded. everything goes here no matter how dumb it seems this is just a place to keep my thoughts organized. also, i am generally willing to discuss and even answer questions about these, but if you try to DEBATE ME, BRO!!!!1 i will shit down your neck. also since i'm USamerican a lot of these are gonna be from a USamerican context

  • ABORTION
    • i am staunchly pro-choice and anti-prolife in every single circumstance, no restrictions. bodily autonomy ALWAYS supersedes the right to life.
    • this includes late-term abortion as well. nobody is out here getting those for shits and giggles, nearly all late-term abortions are due to medical emergency or lack of access and it helps no one to impose restrictions on those
    • i am critical of how some pro-abortion arguments fall in line with eugenicist lines of thought (eg. but what if you find out your child is autistic?! people shouldn't be forced to have DISABLED children hur hur hur)
  • CAPITAL PUNISHMENT
    • i am completely opposed to the death penalty in every instance, no exceptions. in my personal opinion there's lots of people who deserve to die or worse, but this is no excuse to support the government having the power to murder its own citizens. you have to be a complete lobotomite or just a plain bootsucker to even think that's a remotely good idea. whether you personally believe others can be deserving of death for their crimes or not is completely irrelevant to this discussion.
    • not that anyone whose brain's blood supply is constantly fueling their revenge boner even cares enough to listen, but hundreds of innocent people have already been put to death (and will always, always continue to be as long as capital punishment is permitted), including children as young as 12 and 14. sentencing also disproportionately targets people of color, especially those who are black. the notion that simply killing criminals is more cost-effective than imprisoning them for life is false. deterrence value is also a myth, and even if it were true, the inconsistency with which it is applied is completely laughable. EAT SHIT.
    • also, making the death penalty applicable to people like offending pedophiles, abusers, or sex criminals is a terrible idea for another reason - not because they don't deserve it (they do) but because doing so makes it harder for victims to come forward and encourages the criminals to murder their victims to silence them (since doing so carries the same punishment anyway).
  • FEMINISM
    • i am a feminist lol. i do not actively label myself as one, since i don't exactly feel i have the right to considering i don't really discuss/spend a lot time in spaces dedicated to the topic (perhaps i should) but i won't deny what i believe either.
    • i'm unsure of what branch my personal ideologies line up with, i'm still kind of mapping this out, but intersectionality is king. (or should i say queen?) i think radical feminism is intriguing and has points with merit, but i'm not sure how much i will end up aligning with it, if at all. i am VERY, VERY anti-TERF and don't believe that transmisogynists have the right to be called feminist. in the same vein as intersectionality, i am extremely interested in transfeminism and womanism. also i'm for certain not libfem and choice feminism is annoying as all hell. i think this is about it for now?
  • PSYCHIATRY
    • i am like... kind of anti-psych, but soft. not quite fully formed and molded yet. i'm extremely new to the ideology i just pretty much got radicalized into it on the spot by hearing about the existence of drapetomania
  • RELIGION
    • i am an atheist, and generally supportive of religions and their practices as long as they harm no one and are not forced upon others; i am very critical of any harm or bigotry that may be brought about by religious belief and practice. obligatory statement that western christianity is balls lol
    • i mostly find religion interesting from a psychological perspective; even though i don't believe in a god (or gods), or any sort of higher power or universal intention, i definitely understand where the compulsion to do so stems from, and believe that this sort of urge is inherent to the human psyche in a way.
  • VACCINES
    • they don't cause autism, and even if they did, that's based.
