In the beginning of this summer vacation, my best friend and I went to Krakow. We stayed for five nights. Unfortunately it rained a bit during our stay, but we got some sunny days too. Here I will list what we did during our trip.
Krakow city tour
- Old Town
- Kazimierz
- Square of the Heros of the Ghetto
- Under the Eagle Pharmacy
- Preserved fragment of the Ghetto Wall
- Schindler's Factory
Visited churches
- Skalka (During the city tour)
- Visited St. Mary's Basilica (in addition to being inside the church, I was on the top of the taller of St. Mary's two towers, where a trumpet signal is played every hour. I came up just as the trumpeter started.)
- And one more church, I just can't remember it's name right now. (During the city tour)
We also did this:
- Ate out at restaurants everyday (Hard Rock Cafe on Saturday)
- Shopped at Galeria Krakowska
- Visited the Wieliczka Salt Mine
- Visited The Historical Museum of the City of Krakow. Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory
- Went to and walked around The main Market Square of Krakow, the Rynek Glowny. We did this several times and checked out the stores, cafes, restaurants and flower sellers.
Soundtrack: My best friend played Miley Cyrus album "Can't Be Tamed" a lot,so I guess that was the soundtrack for this trip.
