— the older i grew, the more i needed times and places of privacy – or privatecy, as rob calls it, which sounds considerably more private than privacy. privatecy to write in my journal, to write and rewrite, and rewrite again, poems and stories. to try to find out not only who i am but who everybody else is, and what it’s all about.
