As always, my ratings are based on my personal enjoyment!! I really needed a rating system for the games I play because I can get a little confused sometimes...

Little disclaimer! I don't always care about gameplay :) sometimes I do but only when it's REALLY fun (or REALLY awful) — I mostly care about story, characters & the graphics (not the higher ones, just the vibe and everything). It's also really important for me the moment I played them; if I have some happy memories linked to them it's automatically a good –or at least decent– vote!

+0,5★ is for games that go well in their category but I want them to differ from the others — it's like a little bonus I give when something is one step ahead but not enough to be placed in the next category!

5★ doesn't always mean they're my favorites! But every 5★ MAY be my favorite (I have a dedicated list on my profile for them)! I give it to games for which I feel a "specific connection" (for various different reasons) or the ones I really loved based on my criteria.

〈 ★★★★☆ 〉 ⁸ ~ ⁷

Games I obviously liked — but they didn't "deserve" the fifth star 乁⁠|⁠ ⁠･⁠ ⁠〰⁠ ⁠･⁠ ⁠|⁠ㄏ I don't always have reasons, sometimes it's just because I know I could've liked them more (even for a bit) or that I liked other games more. I surely have good memories about them and the moment I played them!

〈 ★★★☆☆ 〉 ⁶ ~ ⁵

Pretty decent games :) the ones I liked but they didn't click for me as they should have. They may have flaws and/or specific things I didn't like about them. It kind of depends on the game! In SOME cases they're also pretty forgettable.

〈 ★★☆☆☆ 〉 ⁴ ~ ³

Games I didn't like for various reasons, but at least they weren't awful and deserved at least one more star. Some of them may have little things I liked, maybe the premise or something else! Sometimes they made me suffer from fatigue (at the end or the mid of it) — that's not always the case, though!

〈 ★☆☆☆☆ 〉 ² ~ ¹

The terrible ones. Wasted precious time of my life on them... either games that I played for joke and were as bad as I imagined or the ones for which I had some "expectations" and they were worse than I thought (for example, I never thought I would like RE7 but it was far worse than I imagined). 99% of the cases I suffered from fatigue while trying to continue them.

— As a casual gamer, I choose my games carefully; it's rare or impossible for me to give 1★ to a game I was genuinely interested in.
