• Crash has autism. He dislikes the flavors of food aside from Wumpa fruit and is nonverbal. Stims by dancing x)
• Same with the Norms. Small Norm takes a great interest in mimery, literature and writing and is nonverbal as well. Big Norm is really bothered by most textures.
• Oxide and Velo are really close friends
• As a child, Cortex killed his parents because of their abuse towards him. However his siblings, not realizing they had been abused as well, now blamed him for their terrible life. He felt immense guilt, and like pure...evil. Eventually, he decided to move on and embrace this part of himself, and deny the rest of his history. He moved by himself from the United States to some unknown islands in Oceania to attend the Academy of Evil. Since he didn't exactly have much else to live for, he dedicated all his time to his studies, rising to become the highest scoring student in his grade! This bothered N Brio greatly. That kid has already skipped a grade... stop surpassing me!! Cortex and N Brio formed a friendship, but mainly to backstab each other over puny things like this.
• Nina has a similar history; though she was a bit younger when her parents died.Her father hated her for reminding him of that shitty sibling who ruined his life... Fearful, Nina had nowhere and no one else to go except to Cortex himself. Cortex was surprised yet very delighted to find out he had a niece! He took her in and gave her the care he had never received as a child, seeing her as his daughter. Nina was mute, but soon after she decided to start talking again. The evil plot that took place in Crash 1 was being planned at this time, but was delayed for years because Cortex was too fixated on Nina lol!
• Yaya Panda was created when N Brio took a trip to China and tripped and fell and dropped his mutagen into a river.
