  • take bread down and the kids feed the fish, they come right up close.
  • recommend snorkelling out from Fruits of Rarotonga. * great coffee and pastries at LBV, there are 2, one in Muri & one in town, we prefer Muri as they have a sandpit and play area for kids.
  • Capitan Tamas glass bottom boat is well worth the money, great for kids too.
  • And my pick for island nights would be Te Vara Nui or Highland paradise, pricey but I think it's money well spent.
  • Live music and pizza night, Thursday's at Castaway in Arorangi, and you'll see the most stunning sunset there.
  • Viana's (near the Oasis) has a great fish and chips, also right in the beach and I think they have live music on Saturdays.

  • Watch sunset at Shipwreck Hut- cheapest cocktails and food just 10 mins walk from backpackers
