— this is a relatively small "hear me out" list but i thought that it would be really interesting to make this post nonetheless 🫣

— the first three "hear me outs" (listed below) are all from the same franchise; for context, back when i was a child, i found this obscure movie (that was just an english dub) and i would always replay the same clips of whenever any of these robots appear together LMFAAOOOO you may all point and laugh at me /hj however i feel that this movie may have changed my life forever.....

as of today, i still have that movie stuck in my mind and it has lead me down this rabbit hole that i call an unique hyperfixation of mine's; discovering the actual cartoon and game(s), learning about the characters and lore, and keeping up with the general aspects of the franchise as a whole!

• sai xiaoxi (seer; 赛尔号) ♡♡♡

— y'all aren't ready for this one.

show me any picture or video of this precious boy and i'll fucking tweak. that is how much i am OBSESSED with this robot,,, try to mention him and i'll be unable to control myself from talking about him 😖😖😖😖 (ight fine. i'll talk lol.)

this boy started off as a VERRYYY nervous wreck with a bad short-circuiting problem, but throughout the whole show (12 seasons, in fact), he grows into a courageous and sentimental intergalactic explorer... OAAAUUUUGGHHHH he grew so muchh 🥺😭 he is just so tender-hearted, empathetic and friend-shaped he quite literally makes me melt WHAHSJDJSHDJHSKSL he is SOOOOO (admittedly) pretty??!?!?? his goggles too?!??!? WAUUUGGHHHH *violently explodes*

P.S. a bit of a guilty pleasure i have but i typically associate him with his english voice (yes, the one that makes him sound like chip from sonic unleashed) and somehow that makes him seem 1000x more handsome than usual???? 🫣

• attida (seer; 赛尔号)

— initially, i didn't mind him. at all.

now, i am just soooo intrigued by his existence like,,, is he an enigma? who is this boy???? idc if he looks like a fawking frog, i see the image of a energetic golden retriever dog whenever i look at him!!! boy's so stubborn and impulsive, but he's also SOOOOOO insecure at the same time.... he's like a sad wet dog that is willing to follow you everywhere.

however, whenever his inner-badass shows, i'll flip out and fall over heels for HIM!!! he automatically becomes unbearably handsome and i just go 🫠🫠🫠🫠 you goooo little guy!!! whip out your swords and beat up the bad guys!!!! boast about yourself!!! 📣 (he was primarily why i loved the 7th movie of the franchise; this guy was gifted with character development and the protagonist status i'll literally give that damn company one thing 🙏🙏🙏)

• kalulu (seer; 赛尔号)

— every time i look at this girl i can feel myself becoming more and more sapphic..... taomee you'll pay for not giving her as much focus time or development as her own team-mates!!!

now listen. i really love kalulu. this girl is just unbelievably pretty and compassionate, but she can get VERY adamant or stubborn at times and that just adds so much to her personality!!! she is so girlboss and headstrong that i'll be begging to have a crush that is like her 🥺 every time she pulls out stuff from her bun thingies and fights bad guys i go AWWOOOGGGHHHH!!! she makes me go insane!!! the amount of growth she could've had if it weren't for THE WRITERS is CRAZYYYYY she could have been more than "just a lady" i literally feel like writing her entire character by myself it makes go OOAUUUUGGGGHHHHH!!!!! 😭😭😭

• suitcase (inanimate insanity) ♡

— i recall stumbling across episodes of inanimate insanity as a kid. although its cast of lively and unique characters get me though the show (especially with some cool bonds and relationships), suitcase always struck out to me for some reason. it wasn't until the end of the second season where i finally realized who suitcase is, as a character.

back then, she was a rather timid and meek character who would often be stepped over by everyone else, but with recent episodes she has truly shown a lot of growth, and I LOVE HER SO MUCH FOR IT!!! she has become so fearless and brave in a way that she doesn't let her shortcomings overshadow her true self... being able to deceive someone else (specifically a capitalistic abusive pos) with a decoy-turned-pipe-bomb, winning the whole season, and eating his contents (or more-so "popcorn") afterwards??? LIKE WHO IS THIS DIVA??? 💜

P.S. now, hear me out for a sec! it isn't just her growth as an individual, but admittedly.... it's also her voice LMFAO. there's something about her voice that makes it sooooo soothing 😭😭 idek if it is the fact she has an aussie accent or if it is the way it changed over the course of the show, but again, i just love her voice SAURR MUCHH,,,, 🥹

• knife (inanimate insanity)

— obviously i was VERY into inanimate insanity as a child but i usually found myself too obsessed over suitcase to even care about anyone else. welp, guess who's having a BIG crush on this dude!! me!!! in particular, he also had this crucial change in character that i just adore for a strange reason; him and suitcase being polar opposites that change in "inverse" ways is just so... perfect??? and i really found myself respecting him more as he sacrificed himself to save marshmallow (the one contestant he would always hurt in the past btw!) and became a ghost stuck within parameters,,, now that is the type of guy that i'll adore for ages!!!!

• marvin the martian (looney tunes)

— okay but seriously, anyone familiar with looney tunes? if so, then maybe you might get the hype for this alien... ;)

marvin in particular strikes out to me the most out of any looney tune, and i REALLY find myself obsessing over this smart yet sassy alien, like it's no joke lol. this little fella is sooo articulate with his choice of words, the way he walks, and the way he plans on destroying the earth!!! 😆 his little mars soldier outfit is just sooooo cute too and i just go *cutely explodes*

• toodles (mickey mouse clubhouse)

— yes, you may all boo at me for this one.

so... toodles used to be my biggest crush as a young child. (and yes. with his face and voice too.) little autistic me would always replay the same ol' clips of him floating around and presenting the necessary mouseketools to mickey mouse and his friends, and it would be like ✨ THE BEST THING EVER ✨ i was clearly obsessed with this guy, especially with the grand discovery that ROB PAULSEN voiced him!

now that i am slowly getting back to mickey mouse clubhouse, particularly with the news of an upcoming revival being released this year, i can feel myself getting attached to him again 🥺🥺🥺

• tuktakman (tuktakman; 뚝딱맨) ♡

— arguably the most obscure "hear me out" you'll ever get from me or anyone else nevertheless 🤭 so one day i went on the iqiyi streaming service and stumbled across... this gem.

that is a little toy with fairy-like qualities... A LITTLE TOY. but! he is sooooo unusually cute but handsome at the same time???? that toy is so FAWKING caring and generous,,, but he's a klutz! and he's very VERY shy!! he cares for his friends so much it makes me wanna cry!!! he also has the ability to transform into vehicles and flying engines and THAT'S SO??? COOL AND AWESOME???? i really wish that kind of toy existed in real life.... 🥺
