here are movies i've had dreams about watching + their fake dream plots

• The Emperor's New Groove (2000) - the main conflict was Kuzco and Yzma trying to beat each other at Mario Kart
• Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009) - i watched the end scene in the supermarket but instead of giving a toast to his family, Mr. Fox's speech went more like "they say all foxes are slightly allergic to linoleum. if any of you go out into the supermarket during the day and somebody sees you then so fucking help me we are leaving and never coming back". instead of dancing to The Beach Boys everyone stood around awkwardly.
• Her (2013) - Joaquin Phoenix's wife left him and he had to raise his son alone. his son was a moose. he tried to teach the moose to read but it didn't work out because he was a moose. then the movie cut to a scene in the future. the moose son had become the leader of a tribe of sentient moose-dinosaur people. his dad watched in the form of a spirit. then one of the tribe's scouts ran up to the leader and started shouting in its language, which was chittering and bellowing sounds. it was telling him about a threat it spotted. then they all fled to an underground shelter and that was the movie
• The Lion King (1992) - just watched the beginning Circle of Life part and it was pretty much normal
• The Mitchells vs. The Machines (2021) - there was a scene where the Mitchells rode on giraffes. there was also a scene where their neighbors unintentionally one-upped them by talking about how much earlier they got up in the morning than the Mitchells did
• Ponyo (2008) - the movie was just a five-minute slideshow of images of Ponyo accompanied by me singing a bad rendition of the end credits song
• Rock Dog (2017) - the movie was set in Minecraft and the sheep character had feathers or something. all i had to say was "wow this movie is a lot different than i remember"
• The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) - the movie took place in a creepy abandoned mansion. a woman with six legs lived there and was one of the main characters. the plot involved a different woman giving birth to a camel
• Sheep & Wolves: Pig Deal (2019) - it was three hours long and it was about shapeshifting Minecraft horses
• Sherlock Gnomes (2018) - Sherlock Gnomes 2 came out and it was a critically acclaimed masterpiece. all i remember is that it was set in space
