ah yes, the care icons. one of my favourite parts of the uni, as they act a bit like achievements, which if you know me, i can't resist! there are currently 41 care icons, 20 being from various activities you can do on the device (cleaning up poop, going on tama travel trips, etc)...the other 21 being from raising each of the 21 base characters to adulthood (mametchi, neliatchi, etc). some are harder than others, but none should be impossible to get! below, you'll find a guide on how to get each icon via the ways i did it!

#1. gave meals [ci:gm]

• description. give your tamagotchi a certain amount of meals!
  • tier #1. gave 100 meals
  • tier #2. gave 500 meals
  • tier #3. gave 1000 meals
• how to obtain. literally just feed your tamagotchi. i'm still not at tier 3 after about a month of playing, but as or writing this, I'm about 2/3rds of the way there! just keep feeding your little guy as needed and you'll get there eventually.

#2. gave snacks [ci:gs]

• description. give your tamagotchi a certain amount of snacks!
  • tier #1. gave 100 snacks
  • tier #2. gave 500 snacks
  • tier #3. gave 1000 snacks
• how to obtain. give snacks to your tamagotchi! this one is a bit harder than meals, but should still be easily doable. just keep their happiness up with snacks during their baby/child/teenage stages. you can still give them snacks after that, but be careful not to give too much, as they might get a toothache!

#3. gave bath [ci:gb]

• description. give your tamagotchi a certain amount of baths!
  • tier #1. gave 30 baths
  • tier #2. gave 100 baths
  • tier #3. gave 500 baths
• how to obtain. just give your tamagotchi a bath as needed, or even once a day! this one will definitely take a while to get, as 500 baths equals at least 500 days. you might be able to bath them more than once a day, but i haven't tried it yet. i will update this list when i have.

#4. perfect score at arcade [ci:ps]

• description. get a certain amount of perfect scores at the arcade!
  • tier #1. 30 perfect scores
  • tier #2. 100 perfect scores
  • tier #3. 500 perfect scores
• how to obtain. this one might seem daunting, but it's easy and probably quicker to achieve. just pick a minigame you're really good at, then play away! you earn some money for buying things, also. personally, i choose "fast food" every single time because it's easy and quick. my current set up is playing 10 rounds per day. dlc minigames also count towards the overall score!

#5. got fav item [ci:fi]

• description. have a tamagotchi interact with a fav item!
  • no tiers. rainbow badge only
• how to obtain. buy any item from the tama mall, then place it out in the living room for your tamagotchi to use. as long as it's not a disliked item (which are based on their personalities, see reference here ), after a while, the tama will interact with it, and it will eventually become a fav item!
