Dumbledore. I love how profound he is as a character, how he hides so many layers that are not quite clear on the seven books. Dumbledore has a turbulent background, he feels guilty towards his family and his past, he is incredibly brilliant and yet, he's learned from experience that power can corrupt even the most intelligent man. His knowledge doesn't always protect him from his own mistakes, and this makes him real & human.
This comes with no surprises but, yes, Snape. I'm still conflicted about him to be honest. I love how his intelligence comes in handy many times, I see a certain beauty in how introspective his personality is, and feel sorry for his loneliness. Still, I believe his hate on James doesn't justify the way he treats Harry. It doesn't explain all the bullying and the many times he's been unfair to him, even though he helped save Harry...his love for Lily turns into an obsession and makes him a bitter man, so I don't like to think that he only saved Harry because of this obsession. I rather think he has grown true affection for the boy.
Ninfadora Tonks. I connect with her appearance changes, how clumsy she is, the fact that her family and herself have strong beliefs and fight for it despite the rest of her relatives, and the love she has for lupin despite his condition.
I'd like to be more like Luna. She's one of a kind, unique in every way, and is not scared to be her true self. she has her own beliefs and stands for them. She is wise enough at her age, to stand the misconceptions about her without trying to change herself because of other people's opinions. And also her relationship with her dad is pretty amazing.
Definitely the Weasley family! specially Fred & George. Loooove them!
I know he's immature throughout most of the books but I can't help it, I love Ron! He's a good-hearted guy. (of course my major crush on Rupert Grint has nothing to do with it). And obviously, Bill Weasley, tall, handsome, with his long red hair in a ponytail and his earring wouldn't be a bad idea AT ALL.
The Hogwarts Letter - Philosopher's Stone
Dobby is Free - Chamber of Secrets
Possession - Order of the Phoenix
King's Cross Station - Deathly Hallows
Snape's Memories - Deathly Hallows
''We could have been killed - or worse, expelled'' Hermione Granger
''Honestly, woman, you call yourself our mother?!'' Fred Weasley
''We've all got both light and dark inside us, what matters is the part we choose to act on, that's who we really are.'' Sirius Black
''What? Leave Hermione? we wouldn't last two days without her. Don't tell her I said that.'' Ron Weasley
''Of course it's happening inside your head, Harry! But why on earth should that mean it is not real?'' Albus Dumbledore
I feel connected with the trio in a direct level because they were the ones I followed through all the years, BUT I believe the Marauders have such a unique story and timeline that I would DIE to know more about. They are all incredibly interesting, their struggle with Lupin's condition, their turbulent relationship with snape, the creation of the Marauders Map and the brackground of their families...UGH I love the conception of everything about them.
THE ORDER! They lived such an overwhelming period, they sacrificed their security, their well-being and sometimes even their own lives to stand for what they thought was right. They had kids and they've sacrificed that much! They've seen friends being murdered in the worst kind of ways and they would still be together and would still fight against Voldemort without surrender. That takes guts.
