- prepare to have a uhaul next time (this time it was pure luck)
- event location needs to be situated where there is walking traffic
- no emailing sponsors - call or visit in store
- need volunteers to hang onto more items in their own homes. do not take their items on their behalf
- live music at a yard sale is unnecessary
- sift through the donated items before accepting them
- we got a lot of crap, e.g. underwear, ripped clothes, puzzles with missing pieces
- advertise MUCH more - posters with good quality tape, social media, ask sponsors to promote as well
- local event, no chain sponsors
