- The entrance, with double doors (with little windows in it) with the little stairs
- The high windows
- The ornaments everywhere; from the little things above the door to the handrail of the stairs that ends in a arty curl.
- The balconies.
- The high ceilings
- The floor, sometimes of marble, or wood. (And I like the clicky noise my heels (or shoes) make when I walk on marble or some kind of stone floor).
- The curtains, because most of the time old buildings have old(looking) curtains. (Especially the patterns on the curtains, litlle flowers or something)
- The curves of the building itself, so that the inside of the building, the rooms, have all kinds of different shapes.
- The smell in old buildings. It's distinctive. Although every old building has it's own smell, the 'smells' always smell alike.. :p
- Sometimes, old buildings still have 'old' statues or art. For example, big paintings on the wall or a statue of the person the building was named after.
