Reading old diaries from 2008-2009. It's startling how many things are still the same. Fortunately things have also changed. Slightly.

• Still falling for random boys I see but never talk to, and being disappointed after seeing them do/wear/say something stupid and forgetting about them.
• Still dreaming of finding someone special.
• Still crushing on James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. Also Simon Pegg and James Franco, but on a lesser extent.
• Fulfilled my dream of moving abroad (and later dream of studying English), but still not feeling content.
• Still having a strange love/hate relationship with myself and my body.
• Still dreaming of the Transsiberian Railroad or any trip to Russia.
• Fulfilled my dream of growing out my hair. But I still dislike it.
• I have a better relationship with my mum now. She is lovely and I'm ashamed of some things I wrote (fortunately nothing too bad though).
• Still trying to eat healthier, not spend as much time on the internet, exercise more and stop procrastinating.
• I got my driver's license in 2009 but now I can't drive anymore and the license has expired anyway.
• Had a course on Jane Eyre which I didn't like that much but now it's one of my favourite books.
• I used to write in Finnish, but in 2009 something happened and I started writing in English. I couldn't write in Finnish anymore, it seems like I can't express myself that way. Which is kind of a shame.
• Still confused about the future.
• My handwriting has changed.
• And fortunately I can draw better now, too.
