- 1.5. Vappu party with friends was fun, even though the ending was unnecessarily dramatic (as they too often are).
- 1.5. Only four months until I leave Finland! I promise to make the most out of it.

- 6.5. My friend's birthday party was fun (but once again, unnecessarily dramatic at times).

- 8.5. Had the best day in a long time - sunshine, good food and drink (chèvre foccaccia, iced caffè latte, ice cream, sparkling wine and the best Long Island Iced Tea in town [not all at once, mind]), and just walking around Helsinki with my friend. This is the way I'd like to spend every Sunday.
- I also just noticed that I've lost my darling ipod (a present from my father), but the day was otherwise so wonderful that I didn't even worry about it until at night and now I'm sad.

- 12.5. I was supposed to have "a couple" more shifts next month, turns out I have three long and two shorter ones. This makes me frustrated and angry.
- 12.5. Finally went to see Never Let Me Go - it was as beautiful as I expected but so heartbreaking. Loved it though. Now I just feel very sad and empty.
- 15.5. IHANAA LEIJONAT, IHANAA!! I'm not usually a hockey fan, but when Finland wins the world championships for the first time in 16 years, and against Sweden (6-1!!!), it's a big deal. After the game we went to the centre of Helsinki and the atmosphere was amazing, people hanging out of car windows and honking, everyone singing and chanting, people giving high-fives, climbing on rooftops, it was just unbelievable, not at all like Finland. It was unforgettable. HYVÄ SUOMI!
