• recently when I was walking friends to where they were gonna catch the bus. I met them about halfway and turned around. The conversation was nice. The walk home was cool, breezy and quiet, no one out. It was 1am so it was dark. Got home and watched new girl until I passed out.
• whenever I'm at the river. floating on my back is where I'm comfy.
• getting my first affirming haircut and getting wings after even though the house had no power when I got back.
• recovering from surgery. There's a moment I think of where I was crying to Gus Van Saint in my recliner. It was a moment of pride and pain and feeling my drains tug and waiting for my life to get better moment by moment. It reminded me of my mom and laying on a twin mattress as a kid in front of the box TV. We thankfully had cable and she'd have the old country music...

• good will hunting - not really anymore but I was into it pre top surgery so I still say it's my favorite.
• manchester by the sea - a friend recommended this movie to me years ago now and I still think about that movie when i watched it for the first time.
• fantastic mr fox - i love the dedication of claymation and anything animated and it's a nostalgic movie for me
• the crow - the one with brandon lee. I watched it recently and loved it very much.
