- empty the contents of an earl gray teabag into one serving of water in a pot.
- steep it on high, bringing it to a boil. once the tea rises in the pot, lower the heat.
- after about ten minutes on the stove or until desired color, strain the tea into a mug and mix in a spoon of cane sugar.
