⸺　you may be wondering, what is the difference between:

• hyperfixations
• main interests
• active interests

this is how i personally define each one!

hyperfixations: extreme obsessions that i devote undivided attention to while disregarding many other things, especially homework...

• when i have a hyperfixation, it is the only interest i am interested in talking about. past hyperfixations for me have been satosugu, lost in the cloud, school bus graveyard, etc.
• my hyperfixations fluctuate often and i do not always have one!

main interests: media that i think of often and enjoy talking about.

active interests: media that i have consumed and have an interest in, but i'm not involved in them and i don't often think of them.
