• 0213: realized i left my passport pick-up receipt at turen and went to the office at seven pm. it was locked, naturally. spent the next few hours frantically contacting everyone and anyone to find someone with a key still in beijing. not an easy task when it's chinese new year's and veritably nobody is a local. andrew and hongqian managed to put me in contact with someone.
• 0214: went to the office in the morning and turns out the studio was unlocked by the cleaning crew. crisis averted.
  • watched the wolverine, terrible movie.
• 0215: figured out that i have athlete's foot and picked up some medicine for it. also possibly allergic to china. tomorrow morning i'm heading to the embassy, with fingers crossed that my passport has arrived.
