Phosphorescence is an upcoming full colour Houseki no Kuni general fanzine projected for a spring 2018 release. Please note that it will be manga spoiler friendly.

For updates, follow us on twitter (http://twitter.com/PhosphorZine) and tumblr (http://phosphorzine.tumblr.com/)!

The root phosphor refers to materials that radiate light without combustion or perceptible heat. Elemental phosphorus earned its name from its light emitting properties after it was first refined from bone ash. It shares its name with the morning star, the third brightest object in the sky after the sun and moon and is associated with unrealized ambitions in its mythologies.

We would like interested parties to know that they are in good hands no matter the size of the project and would love to introduce ourselves and our past experience.

The project is run by two people: Slip (http://twitter.com/chlorobutane) and Jouke (http://twitter.com/saiduq). Slip has recently been co organizer in a fandom gift exchange and a three month long Big Bang. She is also running an active charity calendar that is about to head into production and has been a participating artist in one other zine project. Jouke has an impressive nine zines under their belt already, one of which is the previously mentioned charity calendar.

Both organizers know their physical goods! Slip has printed a variety of things from custom screenprinted/embroidered apparel to stickers to specialty prints for both fandom and promotional materials for work. Jouke has additional experience with artist alley type goods including digital prints and charm printing.
