- Yakitori Totto - same owners, on the west side
- Mary's Fish Camp - THE LOBSTER ROLL
- Egg - great spot for brunch/breakfast and now lunch and dinner in Williamsburg
- The Dove Parlour - romantic bar in the W. Village with tea sandwiches
- Dumont Burger, Dumont, Dressler - great food empire in Williamsburg
- Pies n Thighs - southern homecooking, soon to re-open...where?
- Il Laboratorio del Gelato - imaginative gelatos
- Chelsea Market - Lobster bisque. L'arte del gelato. And they sell BURATTA at the Italian grocery. YUM.
- Una Pizza Napoletana - great, simple, delicious
- Olea - great little tapas/Mediterranean spot in Ft Greene
- Ivo & Lulu - great little BYOB in Soho; French-Caribbean fare with great staff
- Beer Table - great rare beer bar in Park Slope that serves appetizers also; I wish it were closer so we can be more regular.
- The General Greene - first new restaurant in a while that I've been completely happy about. Great food and cocktails.
- Buttermilk Channel - FRIED PORK CHOPS AND CHEDDAR WAFFLES FOR BRUNCH. plus like 4-5 different kinds of bloody marys
- James - again great brunch and space
- Littlefield - not just because Julie owns it. Good for live music, happy hour but out in the middle of nowhere
- Ushiwakamaru - yummy, reasonably priced sushi. 10, 15 or 20 piece sushi dinners, chef's choice.
- Curry Ya - all kinds of curry. The best is the Berkshire pork.
- Ippudo - converted Minca loyalists into defectors
