• fu zhai zi huan (父债子还Youngjae remembers he had a brother, even though he doesn't have one. He has vivid memories of playing with another throughout his childhood. No, it was an imaginary friend that he spent his time with—a boy with thick lips who laughed with him on summer days, held him whenever he was afraid and whispered of always being by his side. Those days felt real, understandably, to a young child who knew not the difference between thunder and lightning. Perhaps a little too real.
  • starry eyed Youngjae is the captain of a skyship that chases lightning bolts. Daehyun is the star that falls onto the ship’s deck in the middle of a thunderstorm. Youngjae needs money, Daehyun just wants to go back home, and neither of them seem to be able to tolerate the other.

In 2020, Bang Yongguk works at his university radio station playing late night hip hop music and giving advice to the sleep-deprived campus population. He finds an analog radio and tunes in to something he didn’t expect.
  • millions When Youngjae meets Daehyun, they're swept up in a whirlwind of memories of a million other lives, but what’s the worth of a single life to a couple of immortal souls?
  • veni vidi vici I dreamt of conquering him.
  • Continuum Mechanics In which Daehyun's constant dirty jokes are definitely a bad influence on Junhong, Yongguk feels responsible for everyone, Jongup is aggressively unruffled by hardships, Himchan is a little bit in love with everyone he meets and Youngjae is probably the only one not suffering from randomized guilt.
    • Aerodynamics “Yoo Youngjae, put your dick away this instant! I had to spend hours convincing my mom that you are the most wonderful little angel before she even considered letting me live off campus.” “Well,” Youngjae shifts his dark auburn feathers, “that was very literal of you.”
    • Hydrodynamics “I can’t swim” he said. “Sunbathing is bad for my skin” he said. “I will personally cut a bitch” he promised. And Jung Daehyun blatantly ignored him and dragged them all to the beach anyways.
  • watery graves When Daehyun's grandpa dies a mysterious death in a small mountain village, Daehyun ends up unearthing a dark past, with the help of local police officers Kim Himchan and Choi Junhong (who is a mystery all of his own). Contains ghosts, shamans, references to Korea's modern history, a mystery and a grumpy secretary.

  • versions of history Daehyun doesn't really understand what happened in his past life - dancing? gangs? getting locked in a freezer? - but he's pretty chill about it all. Well, until he actually sees his soulmate, Moon Jongup. It's understandable; who can blame him for getting a little freaked out when he watches his soulmate murder him? Meanwhile, Jongup's got an entirely different set of memories of their past life, and he remembers them living a long, happy life together? Daehyun might be confused about it all - if he hadn't panicked and ran away when Jongup met his eyes. At least Daehyun can rely on Youngjae for help... or not.
  • a romance unholy Like Romeo and Juliet all over again, a love story forbidden by most. There are two sides of the war, angels and demons. The war is ongoing yet hidden, as angels and demons reside on earth along with the humans who lead normal lives there. A special human soul meets a "fallen" angel. Satan and an archangel aren't on very good terms. Or are they? An arrogant, intelligent, cocky and ( not-so ) holy angel meets his first demon and is shown what true fear is. While the plot is a little twisted, love finds a way to intervene at some point in their story. Even the turmoils of war can't stop what is quite an unholy romance.
  • Purkinje Lights Phenomenon Suddenly more laughter fills the room, and everyone turns to stare at Daehyun, who is still in the same position. “Sorry,” he apologizes, not sounding sorry at all, “it’s just–” he whistles, “nice glasses.” (prequel to "Freudian Slip")

  • working solo Jongup slips a necklace around Junhong’s neck. “There,” he smiles, “Now we are boyfriends fighting for equality rights.” “Remind me,” Daehyun interrupts dryly “why are we doing this again? The kid’s a civilian for crying out loud. Why can’t me and the Moonchild here, you know, the actual agents, go undercover?” “Because you hate each other.” Youngjae says without even bothering to look up from his laptop.

He looks like an innocent lamb in his white sweater: sweater paws peeking from under the long sleeves. And he's struck with realization. As if a puzzle piece suddenly fitting in place. Jongup watches the boy blow at the corn cup in his hands with fearful eyes. It's like he's watching a reflection of a certain boy. And that scares him. Or, Jongup comes across a diary one day written by a young boy, in the local library. As he unravels the boy's feelings locked within those tattered pages, he realizes that some love stories transcend through time in hopes of being fulfilled.
  • the letters Dear Youngjae, Within these letters that I’m sending you, my love rests budding and all yours. Do as you wish with it. My words, though late, will speak for me. I’ve been an atheist for a better part of my life, but I’ve stumbled now upon a religion that blooms faith in my heart. My religion lies in my anticipation for your reply, Youngjae. My faith is that you’ll take me back one day. Or, a series of letters Daehyun writes to Youngjae after he leaves.
