good:
- The girl who played Alice (though she could've used a little more muchness, as it were)
- Mad Hatter's costume, English accent, and general portrayal
- Helena Bonham Carter!!
- Pretty much all of the cast, actually
- But mostly Helena
- Costumes!
- The sets that made up both queens courts
- The Chesire Cat
- The monster that Alice befriends
- Though it wasn't faithful to the source material, the emotional, coherent story line was pretty nice
- The fact that the portrayal of the White Queen is based off of Nigella Lawson is kind of adorable
bad:
- ... but then again it kind of fell flat and the movie felt short and kind of stunted
- Hatter's Scottish accent, I know he's supposed to be mad, but the hell was that Depp?! It was awkward
- The colors D: (with the exception of the White Queen's court, which was pretty and Rivendell-y!)
- Abuse of CGI
- Hatter's make-up/hair
- The conclusion felt rushed
- Depp and Carter again, Burton? Really? They're both awesome in their own right but REALLY?
- I take back Carter, she was BRILLIIAANNT
- But still, it doesn't hurt to branch out
