compilation of danmei/manga/webtoons i'm keeping up with + thoughts i feel like writing down (from least to most detail, order of enjoyment not accounted for)

  • sa ye
  • skip and loafer
  • pure intentions - great plot and characters. unfortunately the art suffers from same-face syndrome
  • 1995 youth report - really cute and art is beautiful but i'm not really rocking with the newest plotline. like whatever-his-name-is-sunbae is pretty but what the hell is his deal man like get out of the way
  • happy twogether - INSANELY underrated probably on account of it not being officially translated yet. smth about this manhwa resonates with me in a way i cannot fully articulate yet but may come back to attempt.
  • borderline - randomly got into this a few days ago and now i'm obsessed. toxic in the fun way! riveting in the way one might spectate a car crash! the art is kind of not great and i really wish mokyeon hadn't borderline (lol) sa'd sanjo at a few points but it comes with the territory in these toxic korean BLs i suppose. anyways i love that these characters are unapologetically selfish and dishonest and messy and awful and delusional and and and...! i wish more stories were brave enough to do this. also the s1 author's note is one of the most detailed, comprehensive, and thoughtful A/N's i've ever seen i wish all A/N's were so insightful. allegedly people do not like sunhwa which i think is crazy like he sucks but he does not suck any more than mokyeon or even sanjo for that matter. in fact he deserves reparations from those two after the events of the s1 finale. #justiceforsunhwa
