Years later, she graduated in Korean Literature from Ewha Womans University, receiving a more classical, academically oriented education.

In adulthood, she pursued a career as an editor, working on other people’s texts, revisions, and final decisions that shape books published under someone else’s name. Although she enjoys her work, Jane faces a creative block when it comes to her own project. Her goal is to publish a book of her own, but the stability of her routine, constant deadlines, and lack of major conflict prevent her writing from moving forward as it should.
