- basic plot,, some guys head got changed into a lizard head and now hes trying to find the sorcerer that did it! but along the way he and his friend get into wacky trouble w the sorcerer gang
- i have not read the manga!! but i plan on reading it one day
- the characters are all p loveable in their own way!!
- the settings really interesting, shifting from the apocalyptic dirty world and the magic sorcerer world.. im rly interested in settings where everythings shitty and dirty and people just murder and have no second thoughts about it,, like shits fucked but damn i gotta make a living!
- dont make the same mistake as me and just stop in the middle of the series and then try to pick it up again bc this show has many little details that you have to remember in order for the plot to make sense (at least for my case)
- its a fairly complex world, but i think it does a good job at introducing you to new topics and concepts and helping you understand this dysfunctional world.. but there are some things where its like. gross. its a shitty world with weird demons who can bring people back to life and its interesting to see these different concepts but they just show you them and dont do anything w them later.. not necessarily wasted potential but just wasted time??
- i rly love the animation,, i havent been able to tell how exactly its animated but i believe its 3d animated with extremely thin cel shaded lines.. but theres also a mix with 2d for the less important characters or objects,, it does a p good job mixing the two as well!! from the few other shows animated this way (bandori + beastars) dorohedoro does a much better job blending the two together,,, in smth like beastars you can OBVIOUSLY tell which characters are 2d, but in dorohedoro its fairly hard to distinct the two!!
- i love the concept of the sorcerers wearing masks too,, its very fun just seeing the different designs for all the characters (my fav masks have to be fujita's and shin's)
- theres not that many female characters altogether but the 3 main ones are kind of treated weirdly.. like w noi you see her giant titties like 8 times and yes im gay!!!! but please stop. and w nikaido shes fairly skinny but her strength can nearly match noi's its like make her buff!!!!! make her buff!!!!! and with ebisu she acts (and somewhat looks) like a young child but having her practically naked or in her underwear for multiple scenes is just uncomfortable.
- the op is extremely fun,, i like it a lot (not mob psycho levels but. v good) the ep on the other hand,, i like the 2 frame walking but other than that its just kinda boring
