- ive been having a lot of fun w this show!!
- its EXTREMELY a part of its time though.. not saying that it doesnt age well but theres some jokes or words in general that arent too great now and days
- i ADORE the voice acting,, not entirely sure how it worked since i cant find any production information on this show, but it really seems like they had a general script and improvised the rest of it. really wish more cartoons did that sort of thing
- i like the characters but none of them like,, super stand out to me, which is okay! theyre just people living their everyday lifes and its just fun to observe
- on the other hand fruitys annoying ghfkdjg
- it takes a while to get used to, but i enjoy the art style! i feel like this show suffers from being over-animated though, i understand its trying to be as "human" as it could be and im absolutely here for it dont get me wrong,, i just feel like in certain scenes or movements it was a little unnecessary? i rly do like how the jaws actually move when they talk like.. i know thats not that big of an accomplishment but you rly dont see that in a lot of modern cartoons now and days.
- im in love with the shows setting,, cartoons that take place in cities are some of my favorites.. i love the little details like graffiti and stuff like that
- and the colors are rly nice,, i watched this show and mission hill back to back and i had to squint when i watched mission hill bc i forgot how dark the colors are here and how neon the colors are in mission hill
- ALSO something really special abt the mtv cartoons (other than how most of them were cancelled after 1 season) was that a lot of the copyrighted music used was kept (at least in the version i watched, not entirely sure if this show had dvds made),, in daria they had to get rid of all the music so its fun to hear what was actually used. so far ive recognized beck and the dandy warhols,, they had tastes
- overall im having a lot of fun w this series! its nothing "gut-busting" but if you want a chill time but with a fun setting, lovable dialogue, and just fairly realistic characters, i definitely recommend this show
