- plot. fight club but with theater kids. they fight to become the lead roles in the play. its fucking wild.
- the art style is just,, kinda average anime.. i like to watch things w different art styles so if bee hadn't offered to watch it w me i most likely wouldnt have watched it
- took a while for me to get into the characters, but i rly like some of them!!
- best girls:
- mahiru: im always a sucker for the shy girls but i like how awkward she is!! but on a deeper level i rly like her character development. it's like... you and your roommate have been best friends for months and suddenly one day some random transfer student shows up, instantly steals your roommates attention, MOVES INTO your room completely disregarding what you want, changes your roommates entire attitude, causing her to stop hanging out with you as often, and eventually ends up wanting to become the main 2 lead roles with the NEW girl... mahiru deserves better!!!!
- also she has so many cat plushies and spoilers but the way her fight was kind of manga influenced was super cute,, prob my fav fight so far?
- also futaba and kaoruko?? girlfriends. futaba? trans.
- i love the sleepy girl + rowdy tough girl dynamic,, extemely good
- their fight didnt rly make sense though?? like. what was the lesson bc kaoruko won.
- banana girl?? her design makes me go apeshit.
- BANANA GIRL IS VERY GOOD THOUGH BUT,, she makes me go ape
- i like how the end credits change according to what happened in the episode!! i think thats a rly neat detail
- tbh. i dont like the main characters,, i like all the side characters way more than i like hikari or karen ghjfkd
- the fighting scenes? EXTREMELY good. i rly like how they utilize their surroundings and weapons, but some fight scenes are better than others in terms of creativity, timing, and animation in general
- the ending?? kinda predictable. we all saw this coming.
