- Name - Moonlight
- Gender - Genderfluid (But is very lax about it, pretty much always goes by "she/her")
- Occupation - "Housekeeper" at Section 9 Headquarters
- Appearance - Moonlight has blonde hair that is usually rather tattered, and mainly always wears a dark jacket. Her cyberenhancments include a basic brain implant, one replaced eye (She doesn't mind the color difference as she says she "Looks like Bowie")
- History - Moonlight was found by Section 9 after they discovered an organization's plans to conduct human experimentation on adults on the Autism Spectrum, and raiding the building to free the captives. Moonlight was test subject 21 and was quite grateful to Section 9 for rescuing her. Being a terrible adult, losing her wallet, and not having any living family, she ended up stranded in New Port City. After some discussion, Aramaki decided she could stay at Section 9's headquarters, as long as she helped the team out, by doing general chores and keeping the place clean. She's just fine with that. She's also gaaay for Major.
- Personality -Moonlight is generally very shy and reserved, as most on the Autistic Spectrum are, but she mainly talks well and is open with those she cares about. Being on this higher end means that she can actually allow those she trusts to break through her Autistic Mode. As such, Motoko and Batou can speak with her through mind share. (Sometimes Aramaki can as well, he gets an "iffy signal" sometimes) She mainly just feels uncomfortable talking to people she doesn't know in everyday life. She also does the common "hand flapping" Autistic trait, but she is self-aware of herself enough to not do it publicly.
- Moonlight also has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder which she is still medicated for. It is mainly thought based OCD/intrusive thoughts so it isn't seen as often as other types of known OCD behaviors, such as constant cleaning. She also has depression, which is kept managed by the same medication as above.
- Generally, Moonlight likes spending a lot of time online, which she can do in her head thanks to technology, but she still makes an effort to talk to the Section 9 members. She loves memes, and watches general internet videos when she's alone. Another thing of note is that Moonlight evidently believes in God and believes the human "ghost" is more than just the brain itself. She also carries a small cross keychain, which puzzles Motoko.
