After Gi-hun wins the first games, he tracks down a certain young detective to figure out what all he knows. This leads him on an emotional journey deep into the past of missing man, Hwang In-ho. Turns out, the man isn't quite what he thought.

There’s 'disturbing the universe', and then there’s… this.

Gi-hun loses the next game. Strangely, they don't kill him.

After the failed rebellion, he dissociates on the Frontman's floor.

VIPs kind of get whatever they want, here- so when one of them orders to have Gi-hun for a night, In-ho has to comply. Gi-hun doesn't get the memo.

He’s a ghost, a myth, with only the bodies left behind to confirm he’d been real at all. He’s essentially Korea’s own Jack-the-Ripper; unproven and uncaught. Seong Gi-hun is the only one who's ever seen him and survived.

tiny inho and tiny gihun and yummy candy

Seong Gihun won the game. Instead of living with hatred, he took Frontman's advice and tried to live like it was all a dream. Went to therapy and using the money he won off the game. There's still something missing in his life; someone to keep him grounded. or, Inho keeps an eye on Gihun after the games and the two eventually meets.

In-Ho's obsession with Gi-hun reaches its climax.

Gi-hun decides to stay after the big betrayal from “Young-il”. Is it to get his dick wet or to rescue his friends from the game? In-ho wants him to have blood on his hands like him. To feel as obsessed with his body as he is with Gi-hun’s.

Jung-bae convinces Gi-hun to sign up for a gym class to feel less like a middle-aged wreck. He doesn’t expect the instructor to be all sharp edges and focused intensity. He definitely doesn’t expect him to have hands like that.

Gi-hun grows increasingly suspicious of Young-il (otherwise known as In-ho, or the Front Man), and the latter finds a way to convince him he is trustworthy, through unconventional methods…

After ruining Gi-hun's whole plan and shooting Jung-Bae right in front of him, the Frontman casually asks Gi-hun to join him for a drink in his office.

Gihun complains about the CEO during lunch to a coworker, Without realizing said coworker is the CEO. For months to come

In-Ho's right-hand man forgets his place and makes a dangerous, and completely false, accusation.

"Do you think you’re a hero who can change the world?"“I’ll show you… that the world doesn’t always go the way you want it to.”So Player 456 indeed wanted to play the hero, huh. The corner of In-ho’s lips lifted up. “If that’s what you want, have it your way.”or Squid Game Season 2 from Hwang In-ho (Front Man)'s point of view.

In-ho is the one that takes the night shift with Gi-hun instead of Jung-bae. Some revelations are made.

He suddenly remembered an interesting detail he had overheard the other night. When Gi-hun and that friend of his had talked about it during their night watch.(Basically Gi-hun cries in his sleep and it turns In-ho on.)

In-ho joins the 33rd Squid Games under an absurd request from Oh Il-nam, his boss. The request: give Il-nam a grandchild before he dies. The challenge: Il-nam's child is joining the Squid Games. The distraction: Seong Gi-hun.

In-ho has an unorthodox solution to Gi-hun’s night terrors.

He’s tired, he doesn’t say. Tired of sitting in a locked, windowless room. Tired of the gourmet meals he barely touches, tired of being led through narrow stairways up to the Front Man’s observation room so he can be tricked with a philosophical debates and combative arguments that only end with this. It escapes Gi-hun how they ended up like this, actually. He just knows that they always do.

more old man yaoi but this time its just straight up freaky.

old men yaoi YAAAHOOOOO!!!! they have so much tension

The memory hits him and a smile tugs Gi-hun’s mouth upwards as he chuckles, “Spinning Top was intense.” Young-il closes his eyes, grinning widely while he drops his head in his hands. “Please don’t start.”

One of the Pink Soldiers has had enough and finally snaps at In-ho. Then Gi-hun comes to a rather shocking realization about the Front Man.

Gasping and gurgling and choking on his own blood, In-ho's eyes remain fixated on Gi-hun and Jun-ho.

You're the Front Man and he's Player 456. Young-il and Gi-hun are no more. And that ache, the sudden surge of pain in In-ho's chest, In-ho could never seem to understand.

After the soldiers took back control, In-ho capturing Gi-hun and killing Jung-bae, things turned a tad more complicated than In-ho thought. Or, In-ho continued battling his own feelings and Gi-hun did something deadly.

"It's not my place," Jun-hee said, "and I know you... have a wife waiting for you at home. But there's a high possibility that none of us will make it out of this place alive, so..." another pause, she hesitated, before she continued, "I think you should tell Gi-hun how you feel." In-ho looked at her, and for the first time, he could not maintain the calculated, innocent face of Young-il, or the cold, emotionless mask of the Front Man.

Young-il's ghost would not stop haunting Gi-hun. Gi-hun would not stop claiming the ghost as his. In other words, Gi-hun fucked Young-il's ghost.

Seong Gi-hun isn't the only enemy the Front Man has. It takes him too long to realize that. Or, Front Man's right hand man, the Officer, with the help of the Soldiers, plans to take him down. In-ho has been too blind to see the betrayal coming. (Ironic enough, it turns out the one who's too trusting isn't Gi-hun.)

"Go fuck yourself," Gi-hun's teeth were on display, lips peeled backward into a deranged snarl. "Fuck me yourself, hero," In-ho challenged, looking at Gi-hun like he desired something that was both raw and violent, be it sex or murder.

As Oh Young-il, In-ho was only trying to break Gi-hun down, fuck with his head. It wasn't In-ho's fault that Gi-hun — the idiot — so terribly, terribly misunderstood the meaning behind his words and took from them an entirely different message. Or, one miscommunication led to something neither of them could be prepared for.

Before Hwang Jun-ho kicked down the Front Man's door with a gun in his hand, he expected many terrible, terrible things waiting for him on the other side; his brother's mutilated corpse lying on the floor with Seong Gi-hun standing over the lifeless body, Seong Gi-hun's decapitated head rolling on the ground with his brother sipping on his whiskey, Seong Gi-hun and his brother each with a gunshot wound to the head, both dead and painting the carpet red. Many terrible, terrible things. Seeing his brother with his tongue in Seong Gi-hun's mouth and Seong Gi-hun's hand in his brother's hair was not one of the many terrible, terrible things Jun-ho feared. Still did not mean it was not as shocking, if not more.

After having witnessed the closeness Jung-bae shared with Gi-hun, In-ho's mask cracked and he, in the fit of possessiveness and possibly jealousy, found himself unable to contain the bitterness he harbored for Gi-hun's best friend. Unfortunately, no one — not even Jung-bae — took the danger he promised seriously. Not when he was, according to everybody, tiny and cute.

In which In-ho tries running away from his own self, his guilt, doubt and feelings. (Gi-hun is handcuffed to a bed, yet In-ho finds himself the one in chains, unable to run away.)

I'm making a small sacrifice for the greater good, In-ho's last words haunted Gi-hun both in his dreams and waking moments.

The VIPs always got what they wanted. Sometimes they wanted to sit back and enjoy the game. Sometimes they wanted to enjoy the Front Man instead.

In a Truth or Dare game, Gi-hun landed himself with the most absurd dare. In-ho realized the price of his undercover mission may be higher than he thought when he was getting fucked at his own game. Figuratively and literally.

After the tenth year anniversary of his wife's death, In-ho decided it was time for him to feel something else that wasn't grief. He found himself in a shady brothel with a companion of an overly friendly, overly awkward sex worker named Seong Gi-hun.

In-ho's plan to infiltrate the game and gain Gi-hun's trust didn't go as well as he hoped when he found himself with a life-threatening injury after a fight broke out between Players. He could pull out now and get his wound treated. Or he could keep going and pray he didn't bleed out right in front of Gi-hun as Oh Young-il.

Letting his guard down and allowing himself some sleep when he was a Player in a death game would be a grave mistake, In-ho knew that. As Oh Young-il, he just had to go days without sleeping at all. Surely, nothing could go wrong.

In-ho was drugged out of his mind. Gi-hun suffered the consequences.

"Hey I bet 300 won that they won't end up doing anything.""300 won? Cheapskate. I bet 3000 won that they will do it in the bathroom!" "You're disgusting you know that... fine! Deal!" Being a squid game guard isn't the most entertaining job in existence. Betting onto the frontman's love life helps spicing it up

Gi hun learns a new way to release his anger.

In the wake of his failed uprising, Gi-hun is left to bargain with the devil.

Married life is wonderful, of course, as long as your husband doesn't bring work home.

Gihun would do anything for Young-il, even if it meant killing someone.

The soldier inserted the key into the lock and twisted it. There was a snap. He pulled away the piece of broken metal and held it up.“The key has broken in the lock,” he said matter-of-factly. “Players 456 and 001 will have to remain shackled. I’m sorry.”

In-ho carries Gi-hun back to his bedroom for a bath.

Hwang In-ho AKA the Front Man, detains a certain player by keeping him inside his private chamber to satisfy his growing fascination and obsession. He intends to sexually take advantage of Gi-hun, whether he likes it or not.

In a world of assassins, Seong Gi-hun and Hwang In-ho are ordered to kill each other—but instead, they spiral into a mess of lust, betrayal, and love. Running from the clients who set them up, they fight, bleed, and fall apart together, until a bullet forces In-ho to realize he might lose the only person he’s ever cared about.

In-ho spent his whole life rejecting his mark. Denying the connection. Burying the ache. But then—he meets him. And every lie he told himself comes crashing down.

“You’re a monster.” “I know,” In-ho whispers into Gi-hun’s skin. “But you’re still here, aren’t you?”

The sound of his voice feels like the only tangible thing Gi-hun can hold onto. Nothing else feels quite real. Ten conversations Gi-hun has with the Frontman.

In-ho had no intention of letting Seong Gi-hun keep his attention for so long, but there was no autonomy in the way his heart had beat itself back to life as he watched Seong Gi-hun, bare-faced, in the back of that limo. There was no choice in how his mind wandered back to him. There was only letting. And soon— the three years kind of soon— did 456 come back to him.

It’s a terrible idea. A really, really bad idea. “Okay.” Gi-hun agrees, quietly giving in. “What is the game?” “It’s pretty simple.” Young-il explains, satisfaction coating the words that whisper into Gi-hun’s ear. “You win if you don’t wake anyone up. I win if you do.” Alternatively: 001 and 456 share a bed when the heating is broken and Young-il (In-ho) has an idea of how to pass the time.

Gi-hun ends up with Young-il(In-ho) in the final round of Mingle and Young-il takes him apart.

“Do you have so little faith in me?” Young-il asks, pulling that hand to his lips to brush a soft kiss across the knuckles. The little action is innocent, but the look in Young-il’s eyes is anything but. “Must I remind you again, Gi-hun?”

A chronological look at the relationship of Gi-hun and Young-il/In-ho told through the kisses they share.

Two lawyers. One firm. Endless rivalry. Gi-hun hates In-ho (Or so he thinks). In-ho thinks that’s cute (And hates himself for it). Legal battles, and workplace tension™ ensue… along with some very inconvenient, very unprofessional feelings.

Gi-hun finds out about The Frontman's identity, and all hell breaks loose.

Gi-hun’s chest heaved. His whole body was wound tight, buzzing with anger, with frustration, with something he didn’t want to acknowledge. "Why are you doing this?" His voice was quieter now, almost unsteady. Young-il leaned in, breath warm against his ear. "Because," he said, his voice barely above a whisper, "you haven’t stopped looking at me like you still want me."

Gi-hun wakes to a familiar warmth, but when another touch follows—just as knowing, just as possessive—he finds himself caught between pleasure and the creeping sense that something isn’t quite right.

Gihun finds out it's Inho's birthday and has to do something about it.

The ache is ever-present, or it was, until Gihun encounters Youngil, another survivor of the very games that broke Gihun.

In-ho needs to learn how Gi-hun ticks. Most importantly so he can stop his plan to end his games. Only now does he learn that he needs Gi-hun in a different way.

Suddenly, finally, In-ho moves. He raises his gloved hands and there is a slight tremor to them when he pulls the gloves out one hand at a time. He flexes his fingers and Gi-hun sees the blood under his nails, the blue veins on his pale wrist as the sleeve of the coat hikes down. In-ho reaches for him, and Gi-hun braces for the attack, but what comes next is infinitely worse: a gentle touch.

A lead on In-ho's location takes Gi-hun down a path of even more blood, violence, and power games. But he will stop at nothing to save the man he both hates and loves the most in the world.

Gi-hun is fighting his feelings when Young-il surprisingly reciprocates them.

Diverging the scene where Jung-bae and Gi-hun talk. Instead of them, it’s Gi-hun and Young-il (In-ho) keeping watch for the night.

Gi-hun runs into a stranger, or is it a stranger? The fic where Gi-hun gets gay panic for the man who essentially ruined his life

Season 2 Episode 7 in written format.

Gi-hun feels safe with player 001. When he wakes up in the middle of the night, he crawls into his bed for comfort.

There is something about player 001 that Gi-hun finds irresistible. Stuff happens.

"Gi-hun?" Only now did he notice that Young-il crawled over to him to wave a hand in front of his face. "Hello? Earth to Gi-hun." Ok, maybe he had an itty bitty little crush on Young-il.

With time his dreams didn't become less vivid or horrific, but Gihun wouldn't wake up panicking anymore: when he opens his eyes he often found his face wet with tears, surrounded by a feeling of cold peace and with Inho's hand inside his pants and his lips kissing his neck. Or: Gihun really, really hates Inho

Gihun is dead and his mother deep in grief holds a ghost marriage for her single son. Inho is just the unfortunate soul who picks up a suspicious envelope and has to marry a man he doesn’t know.

What began as In-ho’s attempt to break down the last of Gi-hun’s spirit has twisted into something… raw. Dependence, a shared pain, and the knowledge that they are the only people in the world who can truly understand each other have… brought them together. And now, in the wreckage of who they once were, all they have left is each other. Two years after Gi-hun’s failure to stop the games, In-ho has taken everything from him, and now, as the Frontman enjoys what remains, Gi-hun has begun to enjoy it as well.

Gi-hun is heartbroken over Young-il's death (except that Young-il wasn't dead. In fact, he wasn't even real), but his ego forbids him from letting it show. He strikes a deal with the Front Man to join him in running the games. With a few twists of his own - making the Front Man's life miserable, and In-ho's world an absolute chaos. Feigned cooperation mutates into physical relationships, and this might only be the only winning card that Gi-hun has, he, himself, and his body.

In-ho doesn't care who wins, he doesn't even care that the little rebellion ended the competiton, he doesn't even care that his phone is blowing up from the VIPs. He has Seong Gi-hun in the palm of his hand and like hell is he letting this man walk away from him ever again. In other words, Hwang In-ho forces the hand of Seong Gi-hun to agree to work under him. Whatever that could possibly mean. Gi-hun finds himself in a Busan penthouse following around In-ho, or rather, having In-ho follow him around.

In-ho blinks at him in the tiny stall. “What?” Gi-hun tilts his head. “The plan? That’s why I told you to come with me.” He says, like that was obvious. In-ho feels a blush tint his usually stoic face. He places a hand on his head. “Jesus.” He mumbles. He’s a pervert. Or, Gi-hun tells In-ho to come to the bathroom with him. In-ho terribly misinterprets it.

Omega In-ho has sex with Alpha Gi-hun without knowing what the consequences will be for him and his games. That's it, pure obscenity

Or, while In-ho is on night watch duty, the sleeping Gi-hun beside him starts calling out his name.

gihun is a hostage, an enemy. inho shouldn’t fuck him. but that’s what he did anyway. forbidden fruit really tastes the sweetest.

seong gihun is the best gambler in seoul correctional institution. despite his omega identity, he managed to climb the ranks and became the respected and fearful individual in the prison. too bad, hwang inho is a much better and wicked gambler. and he's here to make gihun his.

Gi-hun gains feelings for 'Young-il'. In-ho takes advantage.

Gi-hun is married, a ring on his finger, and dutiful house-husband to Inho. So why doesn't he remember this? Come to think of it, why is he locked in this house and pretending everything is fine when the only things he sees in his sleep are the screams of people he cannot put names to? Pink walls, pink soldiers, red stains and gunshots. And always, always the lingering chill that something about this whole arrangement isn't quite right. But In-ho is a good husband. Sure, Gi-hun's not allowed to leave the house unsupervised, or call his friends. But such is the price to pay for a happily ever after...or is it?

In-ho can't help but spy on Gi-hun after he lets him go. He makes it a habit to watch him once a week at the same bar. But when he slips up, and Gi-hun sees him, he's forced to bring Young-il back to life. Chaos ensues.

Gi-hun kisses the top of In-ho’s hair. “I want to take you to bed.” he says, softly. The admission makes In-ho feel dizzy with desire. “Wh…what?”

When Gi-hun discovers that Young-il is actually In-ho, he's left in a catatonic state of depression. Jun-ho is left to take care of him.

Inho was looking straight at him, like he always does. But before he could ask, Inho turned to look at where the wall and ceiling meet. Right there, on the top of the walls were illustrations. Stick figures that were…playing games?…What game involves two people in doggy style..?

“How far do you want to take this,” Gi-hun asks in heavy, panting breaths. “I was going to ask you the same thing.” Or; Gi-hun knows more than he lets on.

"There is no greater love than the love the wolf feels for the lamb it doesn’t eat.” Or: In-ho finds a way to get everything he wants.

Gi-hun thinks back to a ridiculous picture book Ga-yeong had about ancient Greek mythology. He remembers the story of Persephone and Hades. Six cursed pomegranate seeds. Six games. The similarities are almost funny. Gi-hun will never consider himself the god of anything, but he's met the ruler of hell. And that god isn't letting him go.

Gi-hun expected to be killed after the failed rebellion attempt. In-ho has no plans to kill him. He would keep the man alive forever, if he could.

He's felt a strange pull to player number 456 for a long time, and only after personally joining the game, he finally understood this feeling. Together with understanding came a resolution - he won't let any alpha close to his omega, and he's going to stake his claim in the most basic of ways.

A starving In-ho stumbles into Gi-hun's fried chicken shop looking for food and comes out of it with a soulmate. OR, alternate universe where soulmates exist and you can't lie to yours.

What would have happened if Gi-hun had agreed to find the control room with In-ho?

“You have no idea what you do to me, Gi-hun.” In-ho confessed through gritted teeth. “Oh yeah?” Gi-hun breathed out hotly. “You make me feel like I’m losing my fucking mind.” After the riot, In-ho finds that Gi-hun is a habit he just can't break.

The second Gi-hun meets Young-il’s gaze, he hurls every ounce of suppressed fury, repulsion, grief and pain back into Young-il’s stare. He wants to spit it into the man’s face: look what you’ve done to me. Young-il’s eyes are suddenly burning with desire. Gi-hun stares back, pushing harder: look what you’re doing to me. Once again, Gi-hun is prepared to bet it all.

Gi-hun finds himself dreaming of being prepared for the games.

Following the end of S1, In-ho befriends Gi-hun after his triumph in the games by masquerading as his former self. In-ho discovers that playing with his food only makes him hungrier.

Gihun finds a job as a bartender, so Inho sits in the corner of the bar just to make sure no one's gonna flirt with his boyfriend.

Gi-hun was shaking and crying. How was he going to tell In-ho? How was he going to be able to bring a child into this world with In-ho as father? In-ho would like to say that the path they took from establishing their relationship until Min-ho was born was perfect, but that would be a lie. Before Min-ho came into their life, the Frontman's relationship with the former player was too fragile and new.

He used to sleep little at night, but at least now he had a reason to stay awake.

One day his personal assistant comes to him with information about an interesting new client. In-ho finds himself hoping for someone in his life who can truly understand him, and there is no turning back now. The events take place between the first and second seasons. One day, Gi-hun is kidnapped by thugs because of his money, and In-ho, upon learning of this, decides to come to his rescue himself. Gi-hun assumes that In-ho is working for the Frontman. In-ho is in no rush to tell him the truth, thrilled by the opportunity to finally be this close to the object of his unhealthy obsession. This will backfire.

He takes the risk, and then does it again and again while In-ho watches and teases him. As the vampire sinks his fangs into the man's neck, he thinks he is the one in control, completely oblivious to the rope rapidly wrapping around his own neck. Luckily for him, Gi-hun himself doesn't know that he's the one holding the other end of his leash.

Gi-hun is having a bad day and decides to go into a bar to unwind a bit, but ends up managing to make a fool of himself in front of a handsome stranger and realize that he might not be as straight as he thought he was, again, because of that very stranger. Or the story of how a random phrase about hands leads to a domino effect of Gi-hun learning a lot of new information about himself.

Before the mission, Jun-ho decides to tell Gi-hun the truth: the Front Man, the man Gi-hun is after, is actually his brother. Jun-ho knows it’s risky, but he trusts Gi-hun to handle it and to keep his promise to bring his brother back alive. Gi-hun agrees, but deep down, he isn’t sure he can follow through.

When In-ho gets a text from an unknown number gushing about "last night," his nosy little brother Jun-ho wastes no time stirring up chaos. One teasing reply turned into an ongoing conversation, and now some poor guy keeps texting In-ho for dating advice. At first, In-ho finds it amusing. And somewhere between giving dating tips and late-night texts, he realizes he might just be falling for the stranger on the other end of the phone.

Gi-hun used to believe in forever. When he married In-ho, everything was perfect until it wasn’t. Gradually, the man he loved became cold, distant, and indifferent. Conversations turned into arguments, nights became filled with loneliness, and their love faded into something unrecognizable. After years, Gi-hun finally decides he’s had enough. He wants a divorce. He’s ready to walk away, but In-ho gets into an accident and loses his memory. Suddenly, In-ho is the man Gi-hun once loved again—gentle, affectionate, and devoted. However, the past still lingers, and Gi-hun doesn’t know what to do. Should he give in to this version of In-ho, the one he thought he had lost forever? Or should he leave before he falls for him all over again, knowing the man he once loved might remember who he truly is at any moment?

In-ho, still haunted by his breakup, tries to follow a peculiar self-help book to regain his confidence and perhaps his ex, Gi-hun.

After the rebellion, Gi-hun finds himself trapped in an isolated, private prison. Every day, around when he guesses is the evening, the man he had been searching for all those years comes to mock him. He tries everything in his power to kill the Frontman, but nothing’s come close to working. Still, he gets another chance. The Frontman returns the next day. And the next. And the next.

In-ho dies on November 7th, 2024. He knows this because he pulled the trigger himself. Feels the sharp jab of pain, sees the world going dark. He's long since made peace with his death – he's been waiting for it all these years, barely alive. Death is the best thing that he could've asked for. But…he wakes up again. Or, Every time In-ho dies, he's brought back to the past. He makes a lot of mistakes.

Gi-hun wakes up from surgery, high on the effect of anesthesia, and hits on his husband In-ho.

“You are jealous,” Gi-hun said, poking In-ho’s chest. “I am not!!!”“Yes, you are,” Gi-hun repeated, poking him again for emphasis. “You’re the most jealous man I know.” In-ho’s eyes narrowed. “You know other men?” Gi-hun froze. His finger, mid-poke, hovered in the air as his brain tried to process what had just been said. “What?”

In-ho’s lips twitched into a smile. “Speaking of worms…”“Oh, please no,” Gi-hun groaned. Nothing sane or understandable ever followed that phrase. “Would you still love me if I were a worm?”

In-ho stared at the resignation letter like it had personally insulted him, his ancestors, and the entire concept of corporate loyalty. “You can’t be serious,” he said, holding the letter like it was a cursed artifact. “I am,” Gi-hun replied, then smoothly added, “sir” with a bow. In-ho could not help himself; he rolled his eyes. “I’ve been your secretary for nine years. I believe it is time for me to move on.”

Inho had known love. He had once known the soft feeling of caring for someone and hoping for them to be happy, but it wasn't until he met Seong Gihun that he finally understood yearning. And now that he had gotten a taste of it, he wasn't about to let the object of his affection escape his grasp.

The room is cold and Gihun can't stop shivering. Inho helps warm him up.

Inho reveals his true nature, and Gihun suffers the consequences.

Five times Inho came home to an empty fishbowl, and the one time he finally caught the culprit.

Fronting a secret killing game while also taking place in said game was difficult as expected, but the most unexpected inconvenience was that of sneaking out every night to return to In-ho's office. He resorted to excusing himself to the bathroom for long hours during lights out and hoping the others didn’t bother to ask in the haze of their exhaustion. It was Gi-hun that pushed the boundaries, as he should have learned to expect these days.

Gihun went to an interview for a job that he really needed. When he arrived, he realised the boss was the guy who had sex with him two nights ago. He thought he was out. Little did he know, Hwang In-ho spent those two days looking for him.
