• Revivus 2014. Days Eye, Ilia, Nine Lashes, Britt Nicole, Hawk Nelson and SEVENTH DAY SLUMBER! After waiting so long I finally saw Seventh Day Slumber. It was a great event with some 3,000 people and the gospel was preached and preached! 08/23/14
• Castaic Lake Adventures! First time at Lake Castaic. It was a blast on the wave runners so close to home! 09/05/14
• Santa Barbara Trip. Surprised Cecilia with a trip to the Santa Barbara Zoo and Stearn's Wharf. Highlights included feeding a giraffe four leaves for six dollars; seeing 2 lionesses up close; seeing an elephant fifteen feet away; seeing a large male gorilla on the other side of a piece of class; seeing two sleepy snow leopards up close; watching penguins waddle and swim and sunbathe including one names lucky with a special walking boot. 09/08/14
• Hallelujah Jubilee! RED and Tenth Avenue North! They were both so good and I'm so glad I got to see them! I don't know if I've ever felt so refreshed as I do now. 09/13/14
• 2nd Lake Castaic Trip. Can we do this everyday? 10/11/14
• 26th Birthday! The birthday celebration started with the in laws on Saturday. Had some amazing tacos! On Sunday my family took me to Pinoccio's for lasagna and a meat ball! It was the year of the tools as I got all sorts! Then on Monday Cecilia took me to see Fury and for dinner at Chevy's! They were both as great as expected! Mmm I will crave a fajita burrito every time I read this. 10/25-10/27/14
• Calico Ghost Town - Had a great time at Calico with the family. The nights were cold but Cecilia and I had plenty of blankets. Highlights include the Mystery Shack when Cecilia ran into the wall going down the ramp; the little girl yelling "Whisky!" And the Ghost Mine Tour. Remember don't go to the pizza place again! 11/19-11/21/14
• Thanksgiving Dinner '14- We hosted Thanksgiving again. It was interesting to reflect and compare this year to last year. We knew what we were doing and how to host so much more this time. 11/27/14
• Car Show at Ken Porter's - It was a blast doing something different with the in-laws. 11/29/14
• Christmas Tree Miracle - We loved the first tree I opened. Then we went with the in laws and they loved the first tree I opened. I'll be bragging about this one for years! 12/12/14
• Trip to Solvang - We took a special trip up north to celebrate my mom's birthday Dutch-style! My favorite part was eating (to nobody's surprise) 12/13/14
• Christmas '14 - Had a wonderful time celebrating the holidays with all my family. Tamales. Church. Sausage. Video Chat with Shannon. Presents with Grandma. Putting the neighbors dog away while getting little sleep. Presents with my side. Presents with her side. Enchilada style eggs and tamales. Lasagna. Laker game. Most excited about my painting and flute from Shannon and Church Dogmatics from the wife the most, but I got a lot of great and generous gifts! 12/24, 25
• New Year's Eve- closed the year with some Pasole with the in laws, a great time with the youth worshipping God and celebrating that he makes all things new, and hanging with my family, the Ogdens and Joe.
