• Ice Day New Year's Day - we feared the weather would cause Mt. Pinos to be closed but instead we found lots of...ice. Still had fun with great company and built an awesome ice man by stacking chunks of iced snow on top of one another. 01/01/15
• Laker Game! Lakers lose to the Portland Trail Blazers 106 to 94. Nick and Mikala went with us this time. Lakers played well through three quarters before Dame Lillard took over. Still bitter that Kobe rested. 01/11/15.
• Third Laker game and 2nd in as many weeks! I could get used to this!! Rough night against the Rockets but a late rally made it fun. Lakers lose 99-87. 01/25/15
• Waverunning in the Wintertime I'm so glad I live in the Golden State of California when the middle of February is the perfect time to go to Lake Castaic! The whole family came this time plus the Ogden's. 2/14/15
• Valentine's Day Lock In Our first time ordering take out. Casa de pizza was amazing. Spaghetti and Meatballs, salad, garlic bread and pizza! Mmm! We watched some all star game festivities and watched a romantic film called The Book of Life! Love having an excuse to celebrate the love we share every day! 2/14/15
• Evan's First Birthday We celebrated Evan's first year of life. While it may be a strange thing on this list, it was special to go to a birthday party for a toddler that was a friend's child and not a relative's. It also marks the day I could no longer pretend to be patient for the day I'm blessed to be a father. 02/28/15
• La-La-Lakers! My fourth Laker game came against the Dallas Mavericks. It was also Cecilia's first game. Nick and my father-in-law came with us. The Lakers played well for 44 minutes or so before giving it away. They lost 100-93. 03/08/15
• Disneyland! Spent the day at the happiest place on earth with my family. Had a great day and went on everything we wanted to - twice on Buzz and Indiana Jones! Peter Pan and Mattahorn were closed but Mikala got to meet Peter Pan. We also got plates from the four most popular lands! 03/09/15
• Desert Visitors Grandma, Carmen, Zoe, Dillon and Stevie came and spent a week in the California Sunshine! We went to Balboa Park and Six Flags. The kids were fighting sicknesses but it was really good to see them all. Stevie was 15 months old and loves to smile. 3/11/15 - 3/17/15
• Chewbacca Visits Planet America Shannon/Shay/The Thaister/Chewbacca retuns to her family, friends, and supporters for her first US Tour. We picked her up from LAX on Friday. Many memories will be separated from this block but I enjoyed those moments that won't be. Waking to/from somewhere, watching TV, sitting on the couch doing nothing and so on. 3/27/15-4/13/15
• Reunited and It Feels so Good Went to Lake Castaic for the day. First time that all the Gennovarios (plus Shay) and Odgens have been together in a long time. Had a blast with everyone both on the water and on the shore. 4/4/15
• Shannon's Tourist Day Started the day at the LA Zoo with Cecilia, Shannon, Nick, and Mikala. We opened the park then headed to the walk of fame and Johnny Rockets for lunch. We then took a thousand pictures with the Hollywood Sign before going to the Observatory and ending the night at a service at Angeles Temple with Rick and half the Ogden clan. 4/9/15
• Beach Trip Took Shannon to the beach so she would leave me alone a while. Went to Point Dume as Zuma Beach. We didn't stay too long but it was a perfect day for the beach. 4/10/15
• Lakers get us Tacos!! Found out about six hours before the game that we would be going. Went with Cecilia, Shannon and Nick. The Lakers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves and all the fans got tacos. (Nick and Shannon got some the next day to negative reviews). Had my first skyscraper dog and have to say it's not bad! Clarkson also got his rookie of the month award. Game #5 4/10/15
• Danny's Graduation and Surprise Party Got to cheer for Danny as he celebrated graduating from college! We celebrated at Lucille's afterwards! That is a very tasty beef brisket sandwich! On Saturday we helped Steph and Danny's family get ready for a surprise party! We definitely surprised him! Got to see all sorts of old faces. 05/08/15-05/09/15
• Nick's Graduation Got to cheer for Nick as he completed his college career! We followed up the celebration properly...with a party! Proud of the way he has stuck with school and graduated as one of the most promising artists in his fields (not that I'm biased) 05/16/15
• Two years already?! Celebrated the conclusion of our second year of marriage and ushered in our third! We had a low key celebration enjoying take out (Casa on Sunday) together and took a lazy day just being together. 05/24/15-05/25/15
• California Island We spent the day on Catalina with the family, the Hallorans and Grandma and Papa. Cruising over there in the boat was pretty fun despite my concerns. Had fun eating, strolling, shopping, cruising on the golf carts and glass bottom boat. 06/05/15
• Snott's Berry Farm Spent the day at Knotts with the family, the Hallorans, Grandma, Papa and Uncle Ronnie. Enjoyed the day in the park and ate Mrs. Knotts famous chicken dinner in the evening. 06/07/15
• Home Sweet Diaz A wonderful four days in our desert oasis with lots of reading, floating, waverunnering and relaxing.

• Her 26th Celebrated Cecilia's 26th birthday with lots of food. We started the day at IHOP with her family and then went to Burbank to watch Inside Out, go to Hobby Lobby and Ulta and eat at Chevy's. She then went on to eat bug rich sushi with Mely! 06/25/15
• Red, White and too much Blue Celebrated the Fourth at my parents house with the family and the Ogdens. The neighbors had a ton of fireworks on both sides. Across the street we watched a live episode of cops as the police used my truck as a just in case bullet shield as they apprehended a subject. 07/04/15
• Sweet Seven Years Celebrated Seven years of being a couple. We exchanged some nice gifts but celebrated quietly with a late spur of the moment celebratory dinner at Chi Chi's a couple days late. 07/21/15 (07/23/15 Dinner)
