Here are the characteristics I think the ideal guy for me would have:

• He'd be rather laidback and be up for a lot of new experiences
• He'd be considerate and genuine
• He'd love to read a lot, a variety of books
• He'd like a lot of the same music I like and also introduce me to new music I've never heard
• He'd be funny in a goofy sort of way
• He'd be very stable emotionally so that I wouldn't feel like I'd have to hold him up or take care of him
• He'd be tall enough so that I could wear heels and still be shorter than he is :-)
• He'd enjoy movies and be able to talk about them with me and appreciate them
• He'd be a Christian, not necessarily affiliated with an organized religion
• He'd be adorable not necessarily in a hot model kind of way, but in a cute way
• He would take good care of himself physically and not eat a ton of junk food
• He'd have definite clear goals in life as far as career and personal life
• He'd know how to play one musical instrument and he would play it for me :-)
• He'd be fairly conservative-minded and not tree-hugging or too far left-leaning
• He would really like animals, particularly dogs
• He would work hard and actually enjoy his job and not complain about it every day he came home
• He'd be interested in vacations, not just staying where he is all the time
• He would be genuinely interested in my own goals and feelings and show his support in both actions and words
• He would excite me with his presence and I would be in awe of his physical beauty and intellectual insights
• He would get along well with most people, especially my family and his own family
• He would have a cool family who supported him
• He'd enjoy cooking and sometimes make me meals I've never tried before!
