• Saw Halloween II with Alex.
  • Dad visited from Florida and saw my apartment.
  • Saw UP with Alex. Loved it. Cried. LOVE Pixar.
  • Went to my first First Friday in Richmond.
  • Took photos at work of all the dogs again!
  • My mom met Alex finally! Short but pleasant enough dinner at Max & Erma's.
  • Found an awesome anniversary Disney magazine with the Haunted Mansion on the cover!
    • EDIT: It's a quarter-monthly magazine, D23. And I'm going to buy them from here on out! The Haunted Mansion one was the Fall issue. And I just bought the Winter issue with a beautiful picture from the new Princess and the Frog movie on the cover.
  • Made a 'Haunted Dimension' house for Alex. Pretty successful first attempt.
  • Got three passort points for my School of World Studies passport (can't believe I still have to do this in college).:
    • St. Benedict's Oktoberfest.
    • St. James Church 51st Annual Armenian Food Festival.
    • 19th Annual Native American Pow-Wow.
  • Took Alex to Fredericksburg to the BattleFC fights. Had a pretty good time!
  • Jessica & Paul met Alex at the fights as well. We saw UFC fighter Sean Sherk from affar. Looked and acted like a major douche.
  • Saw Orphan with Alex.
  • Went to Howl-0-Scream at Busch Gardens with Alex and his parents.
    • Went a second time with Alex to get our money's worth on our pass. Rode the Griffon for the first time, it was awesome!
  • Went to the State Fair with Alex. Rode the ferris wheel and ate a frozen chocolate covered banana. Mostly just people watched and walked around and looked at everything. We didn't have time to do much else or the money. But I think we got the gist of it and saw what there was to see :)
  • Went to Kings Dominion's Halloween Haunt with Alex.
  • Saw The Hangover at the Byrd with Alex. Hi-larious.
  • Learned how to work with Adobe InDesign at my internship. A valuable work skill! Designed ads, fliers and invitations that hundreds of people will see :)
  • Started my collection of Halloween decorations with Alex. Bought two awesome Lemax Spooky Town houses for half the price. I got House of Wax, Alex got A Phantom of the Opera one. "...And so it begins."
  • Saw Where The Wild Things Are with Alex. Visually beautiful but the storyline sucked, too weird. Disappointed!
  • Went to Florida with Alex and had the BEST trip! Did so much together and saw so much of my family. It was fabulous.
  • Went to Newport News with Alex to see where he started his haunted house career at Colony Pool with his parents and brother. Ate a delicious sub at Andy's. Pet Kitty and Cat and Smoky alot. Got to know his parents more and vice versa.
  • Saw Saw VI on Halloween. Alex bought me a bag of candy corn unexpectedly :)
  • Celebrated Alex's 24th birthday. Delicious dinner at Outback, I made him get the biggest steak possible since I was paying. A homemade Frankenstein card, Horror Hound magazine and 40th anniversary Haunted Mansion glasses. Success I'd say :)
  • Saw Zombieland with Alex. So good!
  • Saw The Box with Alex. Not what I expected at all. But we thought it was great! We see ALOT of movies.
  • Alex's parents came to my apartment and gave us Owen's old couch. Super nice brown suede!
  • Went to a Native American Pow Wow at the Showplace for one of my classes. Mesmerized by the dancing.
  • Took Karl to work and let him play with all the pups!
  • Had three cavities filled! Aye yi yi :/
  • Had a successful Thanksgiving in Fredericksburg:
    • Ran our annual Turkey Trot 5k with Jessica, Paul and Jessica's new friend, Nicole. Did better than I ever have!
    • Had a great time catching up with my sisters, especially Shandy.
    • Took a few pictures of the cats and fog and a few of people.
    • Ate a shit ton of mashed potatoes and my mom's pumpkin/cranberry bread.
    • Got all my laundry all the way to the bottom of my hamper done!
    • Got a few new shirts from Jessica!
    • Brought home some Christmas decor and art supplies!
  • Went to the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardenfest of Lights with Alex. It was cold but felt good to be walking around in it at night and the lights were GORGEOUS! I wish I had a better camera. Everything was magical and colorful! And Alex gave me some white christmas lights I've been wanting in the cutest way possible after we got back in the car, hidden in the glove compartment.
  • Reached my goal of 5 books for pleasure, actually 6! With all my school work I'm surprised I even got this many read!
  • Saw Fantastic Mr. Fox with Alex. Wonderful!
  • Went to the see the pretty Christmas lights at the Grand Illumination downtown. And the Nightmare Before Christmas house down Patterson Ave.
  • Got Adobe Photoshop CS4 thanks to my fabulous boyfriend.
  • Learned moe about my camera and how to take better night pictures. Making my Nikon D40x work for me better until I can afford a better one!
  • Completed my LAST fall semester of college. Just one spring semester to go and I am DONE! And got pretty darn good grades to boot.
  • Completed my internship at the Virginia Holocaust Museum. Had a great time, learned a ton, gained alot of experience and new knowledge and gained contacts and even a possible friend in my boss. I will miss it and will certainly return to volunteer sometimes!
  • Saw Surrogates at the Byrd with Alex. Was pretty good. But scary. Encompassed one of my biggest fears in life: people becoming so reliant on technology and letting it take over our lives.
  • Got straight A's my second to last semester of college :)
