• overall: D. enjoyment: F.
• a VN with puzzle game elements. you play as a boy whos invited to live in a boarding house with a group of girls from the devs previous games. the only decent thing about this game is the art, and you could just play the other games for it. this game is a waste of time, atrocious to play and atrocious to read.
• plot: F. its trash. there isnt really even an attempt. its characters reused from the studios previous games but thrown into a boarding house together, with the concept of "being good at puzzle games makes you popular". thats right. the puzzle games are an actual story device, and a really shitty one.
• characters: D theyre all forgettable, one note, lame, and in some cases downright creepy. way too many of them are obsessed with porn. the only character that made any impact on me whatsoever was kagari, who is a precious angel who deserves to be in a better game. i did like some others; konoka has a cute design, but her artistic storyline was written better for kagero from fire emblem fates. kanae is a bit fun as a more adult-like character, but rather than put any focus on her writing it all comes back to porn. the rest are all either boring or actively disgusting.
• writing: D. it makes a vague attempt to be cutesy. it fails. none of the routes are interesting, and most are just vaguely padding time to get to a reused porn CG. the only route id consider good is still mediocre compared to most games.
• routes: kagari >>> konoka > kanae > hinako >> miyako > yogiri > sora > suzu
• gameplay: F. attempts to become a huniepop clone, mixing bejeweled with traditional VN aspects, but both aspects suffer for it. the puzzles are so separated from the game they feel totally out of place whenever youre thrown into another. its basically just a key to unlock the next story segment. and also, the rules of bejeweled are modified in a way thats just kind of dumb and takes out anything fun in it. i would give points for innovation, but said innovation did nothing but harm the game. also, the choices in the VN section change nothing. trash.
• art: B. its fairly generic anime dating sim style art. the CGs are good quality, but the character portraits are a bit lame and bring it down. UI design is trash.
