  • What would I want from a festival
    • Building a sense of community - a way to do this is through clever programming.
    • wide range of music > attracts people from many different walks of life (important as you want it to feel otherworldly and want people to feel connected. At festivals we are in an open state of mind. Collective experience and unity)
  • Need to figure out priorities, ethos and mission/vision for an event of that scale. >>> Brand development > tone of voice.
  • Variety is key
  • Facilitating discovery of new experiences and artists/musicians with relaxed but careful programming allows people to follow their nose and creates this 'stumbled upon' experience. Which is ultimately one of the best parts and most special of the festival experience.
