- the sound of my grandmother talking quietly to the dog while trying not to wake me up
- buying old, beautifully bound books that have already lived a full life on someone else's shelf
- hammocks, made from rope and hung from two sturdy trees
- finding amazing musicians that I've never heard of
- taking mass-produced things(clothes, bags) and making them unique (paint, embroidery, etc.)

- when I'm laying on the floor, crying, the tears run sideways out of my eyes and into my ears and it tickles.
