- Wristcutters (11/13/10)
- Big Night (09/06/10) - ADORABLE, funny, appetizing Italian immigrant film. Ohmygosh. So funny. In the funniest way. Also. Timpano!
- Malice in Wonderland (08/22/10) - I <3 Alice in Wonderland. I <3 British ruffians. Not the best of movies though.
- The River of No Return (06/19/10) - Ridiculous technicolor Marilyn Monroe "western"
- An Education (finished 05/04/10) - Really interesting story. Can't at all predict anything, but it's all so real. And great great acting.
- The Vanishing ("Spoorloos") (05/09/10) - Creepy Netherlands thriller about kidnapping and disappearance and obsession.
- King of California - Just watched that today (12/27/09) with my ma. It made me really happy in all its ridiculous eccentricity.
- Junebug (02/05/10) - A fascinating glimpse into the lives of a true-to-life family.
- Chumscrubber - Really spoke to me back in those angsty, nonconformist days of my teenagehood.
- Harold and Maude - Theyre pretty cool. I mean so is Cat Stevens, so altogether is pretty SUPERcool!
- The Fling - Seems like an unobstructed view of adult life. Not the part about the open relationship, but about the apartment and the dialogue. EX: Only film Ive encountered when a gf asks her bf to get tested.
- Eraserhead - Brrrr
- Evil Dead - Not as scary when youre with Evan. Doubly scary when youre with friends.
- 8 Women (04/25/10) - French murder mystery. Very colorful and overall pretty scenery, which is what attracted me to it in the first place. The cheesy music sneaks up on you though.
- The Story of Us (05/29/10) - Sad bad marriage movie w/Michelle Pfeiffer
- Delicatessen - Artfully done creepy business a la Sweeny Todd
