- genki crepes on clement and 5th-- reading the labels on the packages of gummy fruit on the far right-hand aisle and laughing out loud. i didn't have any money to buy them but once i do i'll post the labels.
- the fact that you can walk everywhere.
- so many good restaurants to try.
- arizmendi bakery at 9th and irving, and the ancient lady who comes there every morning and sits with her pastry and coffee, smiling at everyone.
- the random 3-minute downpour of rain yesterday morning.
- farmers' markets.
- the view out my back window.
- that there's always something new to discover.
