- Ingredients: 1 teaspoon of olive oil, 1 cup long-grain rice such as jasmine, 1 1/2 cups water, 1 bay leaf, 3 springs fresh thyme and salt to taste.
- Method:
In a small pot, heat the olve oil over medium-low heat. Add the rice and stir for 2 minutes. Add the water, bay leaf, thyme and salt. Bring to a boil. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Remove the bay leaf and thyme before serving.
