- Renaissance Seminar [lit before 1800]
- History of the Book to 1800 [elective #1]
Spring 2012
- American Writing to 1918 [American course]
- 18th-Century lit [spec. course #1]
- History of the Modern Book [elective #2]

Summer 2012
- Composition Theory [course from other concentration][I really hope they offer some good courses for the summer. Not Medieval lit or Celtic languages or something else that's completely useless to me. Otherwise I'll have to take another class in the Fall. Which would be SUICIDE. Though, I can't say that having the summer mostly off wouldn't be the worst thing in the world]
- Foreign Language requirement, most likely Spanish
Fall 2012
- Romanticism Seminar [spec. course #2]
- Teaching Practicum
- Teach 2 classes [hooooooly fuck, that's gonna suck]
Spring 2013
- Art History Seminar [spec. course #3]
- MA Capstone
- Teach 1 class
- oral exams & thesis defense
THEN...GRADU-FUCKING-ATION.
See? That wasn't so bad....right?
Actually, may just save the orals & defense for the summer. Why put so much pressure on myself in one short semester?
- *Update 9/22/11: I guess you have to defend your thesis in the spring semester of your second year otherwise they kick you out of the program unless there is a "rare emergency" that the graduate school has to approve in order to get an extension. Fuck me. Would a panic/anxiety attack count as a "rare emergency"? I mean, I haven't had one since Christmas 2007, so if I get one in Spring 2013 that would count as rare, right?
