pokemon will always have a special place in my heart, despite the quality of the recent entries..! this is not an original opinion for someone my age on the internet but of course my favorite games are hgss, b&w and b&w2. hgss was my first game, b&w were the first games i beat, and b&w2 were the first games in which i raised a pokemon to level 100! heres some of my favorite little guys to bring with me on adventures

• the impidimp line, i love these guys so much and they might have become my favorite line in recent years. i shiny hunted for them back in 2020 and got a shiny in 3 eggs! his name is balrog <3
• the cyndaquil line, hisuian typhlosion in particular. cyndaquil was my first starter, so of course they will always be special to me
• the sandile line. when i was a kid, i had a krookodile with moxie and, being a child, i was thought that the moxie boosts carried over between battles, so i was convinced my krookodile was absolutely unstoppable. i love using krookodile whenever i can.
• misdreavus and mismagius. ghost types rule and if i was turned into a pokemon a la mystery dungeon, i would hope to become a misdreavus/mismagius.
• the tinkaton line. do i need to explain this one? little pink thing with giant hammer is an awesome concept for a pokemon
• gligar and gliscor. when i was a kid i had a few pokemon anime dvds, particularly for the sinnoh series, and i thought ash's gliscor was so cool and always wanted to use one. though due to it only evolving via trade evolution, this did not happen for many years...
• espeon and umbreon. the lesbian eeveelutions. the sun and the moon. need me a relationship like this...
