- For the few friends I still have, even if I don't see them as much as I'd like to.
- For this apartment, and not having to pay for as much as I should.
- For my job, and the people there who keep me sane.
- For school, for giving me a sense of progress.
- For this city, because as much as I hate it sometimes, I'm certainly never bored.
- For the phone calls from my brothers and sister, telling me to come home and making me feel loved.
- For a president who gives me the feeling that something is getting done for the first time in a decade.
- And on that note, for Sarah Palin for providing me with constant entertainment.
- For having two grocery stores and an organic market within walking distance, so I can eat more than just take-out.
- For Netflix Instant and On Demand, for the days when I don't want to leave the house.
- For always having good music to listen to.
- For chord tabs, online tutorials, and for the people who post them, so I can struggle to play music myself.
- And for my life, because even though I complain, or get sad, or wish I was doing things differently, I still have the option to do things in the first place.
