- Multi-centenarian Ahuehuete (Ahuehuete Multicentenario)
This small park is known for it's archaeological treasures, as well as its historical ahuehuete tree, which is over 700 years old. In fact, the first Catholic mass in Valle de Bravo supposedly took place under the tree on November 15, 1530, when it was given the misnomer "El Pino" (ahuehuetes are not pines. They are native to Mexico and their name means "old man of the water" in Nahuatl due to its location, often by rivers.) Aztec artwork of deity heads carved into stone reside throughout the park. Writer and religious figure JoaquĆn Arcadio Pagaza has a cantera carved into another stone slab, giving this small park a full slice of history.
