| Dear Dr. Isami I hope you'll forgive my unconventional way of contacting you. I wanted to tell you that I greatly admire you and your work. I have a lot of passion for what you do, and I respect you very much. I'm a very shy person, so I hesitate to tell you who I am. You do not even have to respond to me if you so wish. However, I felt I needed to get things off of my chest. Thank you for reading, if you do. feb 27 2026 ∞
feb 27 2026 + Sender; Of course I have better things to do! Consider yourself lucky I am even writing back to you. I am of course, always busy. I'm glad to see you have the respect for me that I deserve! Your praise does not fall upon deaf ears! It is good to know there is at least a student in Mortkranken with common sense. And one who presumably knows how to follow directions, at that. However, I still do not understand why you prefer this archaic form of communication. I'll leave this letter in the same spot. Write back if you so wish, but please keep it brief. Dr. Isami Yuri feb 27 2026 ∞
feb 27 2026 + Dr. Isami Yuri, I am indeed honored that you not only do not consider my thoughts and feelings unecessary, but are allowing me the privelege of hearing your own. I greatly value your mind, both as a doctor and as our house leader. Sometimes, I quite honestly don't feel like my name really fits who I am. I find it ironic and cruel that I am the exact opposite of a person that my name's meaning would suggest. However, I don't want to deny your request. So like many writers, I ask that you refer to me by a pen name. How about something like Imber? Just a suggestion... - Sender (For Now) feb 27 2026 ∞

Anyonymous Sender; Despite claiming your timidity, your words are flattering and bold. Are you a Mortkranken student as well? I've left this letter in the same place you left yours. Dr. Isami Yuri feb 27 2026 ∞
feb 27 2026 + Dr. Isami Yuri Yes. Very sorry. I'll keep it brief. I simply like to write letters. I find it is the best way I can express myself. - Sender feb 27 2026 ∞

Dr. Isami, I actually didn't think you would respond! Not to insult you, of course, I just figured you had more important things to do- Don't get me wrong, I'm really glad you did!! Yes, I'm a second year in Mortkranken. I'm just a general student. I sometimes see you around our campus, and I think you've given me directives once or twice. I'm not very easily noticed by people, so I was surprised. Oh, and I'm a girl. feb 27 2026 ∞
feb 27 2026 + Sender; Well, you have good self awareness, at that. I suppose I agree that many classical values and uses of the times have a certain charm which cannot be replicated by modern practice. Also, you do not have to keep it *that* brief. There is a stark and frightening difference between your tone of the previous letter and the one before that. Feel free to elaborate on your thoughts. Just do not dawdle or include unnecessary things! I suppose I will grant you the honor of continuing to write me letters anonymously to receive your praise. However, I will need a name to refer to you by. Dr. Isami Yuri feb 27 2026 ∞
