Jimin is Gifted. He is able to heal any wound within seconds, not even a scar left behind. The only catch is -- the wound then becomes his own.
After he is captured, Jimin is recruited to work with six other boys under The Resistance, a rebel group fighting for the freedom and equality of Gifteds, who have been systematically oppressed under the crown for almost a century.
Their mission: to kill the king. And so ensues a journey full of unrivaled bravery, impossible sacrifices, and unexpected love.
At age 5, Jimin had decided that he wanted to be rich. At age 13, he wanted to be a dancer. At 18, he wanted to make his parents proud.
When Park Jimin has a bit of a crisis over what he wants to do with his life, he decides to take a gap year to clear his head and all thoughts of pursuing his dancing. It’s lonely in this town, now, all his friends having left for bigger better places, and Jimin feels left behind with his stupid thoughts and hopes and dreams that should have been washed away long ago.
It’s when he finally thinks he’s made a decision that his childhood friend and former crush, Min Yoongi, returns after two years of radio silence and changes everything. Jimin is not quite sure how to feel.
Yoongi is Captain of the pirate ship, the Devil's Mistress, and he and his crew are racing against time to find a famous buried treasure, always one step behind and losing it to another rival ship. To gain the upper hand, Yoongi kidnaps a silver-haired beauty who is rumored to be a creature of great power. He isn't expecting to fall in love on the way.
This feels like the beginning of something, and beginnings have always been Jimin’s favourite part.

"I'll give you five hundred," Yoongi says. His voice is still low, his heels digging into the floor at the base of his bed, which lies low to the ground and is covered in a satin-smooth blue comforter. The air conditioning kicks on quietly in the background somewhere, sending down a cool breeze that ruffles the open sleeves of Jimin's muscle shirt. His eyeliner is thick, and his jeans are tight. He looks like a slut. He'd wanted to look like a slut.
Jimin's lips pop open. "Oh, that's — "
"A thousand."

Detective Park Jimin will surely give up once he’s weathered Yoongi’s cold shoulder for a few weeks.
What Yoongi doesn’t expect is to stumble across a serious, high profile case with his dedicated and talented new partner. Could this finally be what pushes Yoongi to pick up the pieces of his life?

Yoongi doesn't know if it's accurate to say he's a sociopath. All he knows is that he cares about a very short list of people. The continued survival of the rest of the human race, he places on a slightly higher priority than say… The continued existence of caviar.

The summer of 1984 is one Yoongi will never forget.
While sleeping with his professor for a better grade, Jimin doesn't realise they are being filmed. When the video gets shared across campus and results in his professor getting fired, Jimin finds himself the target of a hate campaign aimed at ruining his life and academic career. Six months later, he retakes the course under a new professor who is aware of his history and adamant to not give him extra credit. Jimin knows that there is only one way to fix this.

Min Yoongi has a rather irritating issue in his life - he’s struggling with crippling insomnia. Restless nights, lack of energy and enthusiasm, he’s starting to think that nothing can budge it. After a sudden move back down to Daegu to deal with an unexpected family event, Yoongi ends up crossing paths with a local legend.
Apparently, witches are real, and they drive vintage muscle cars…
Jimin is the new town witch, an eccentric young man that claims that he can fix his insomnia for good. That, and he’ll even throw in some dreams for free.
Jimin chews on his lower lip for a moment, clearly conflicted. Eventually, he meets the elder's eyes with a decisive look. "You won't get the wrong idea, will you?" He asks quietly, far gentler than he has any right to be for someone who isn't kicking Yoongi out of his room. "I belong to The Ophel Lounge, and I'm not in the business of mending broken hearts."
(Yoongi has to admit that he has a very bad feeling about this.)
"Doll, I'm fucking off in a few months," he hedges instead, brushing his lips against the bridge of Jimin's nose. The dancer sighs, tension bleeding from his body as he sags against Yoongi with sleepy relief. "Forget you; it's me who can't afford to get the wrong idea."
“Uh, hey,” Yoongi says. “Park Jimin. I wanted to say… I know I’ve been an asshole lately. But I’m gonna stop. I’ll figure it out. I’m sorry.”
Jimin does his utmost to think of an inoffensive way to say, What do you mean by ‘lately’?
In which Min Yoongi apologizes for no reason and then promptly does a whole bunch of confusing shit worth apologizing for.
