These are things I've learned about myself that I need to either do or not do to make myself most productive/comfortable.

Productivity

• If I plan on studying in the morning, I HAVE to have everything next to my bed. Or else my laziness will kick in and I'll go back to sleep.
• I have to write out key terms on an unlined piece of paper when studying for an exam.

Comfort

• Always have a pair of flats either in my purse or in my car for when I wear heels.
• Have nonperishable snacks in my glove compartment for when I'm stuck in traffic on the freeway after class.
• When plagued with migraine, have bananas on tap to make taking my medication easie...

Anytime I feel like spending money on myself, I need to remember that I have these responsibilities/goals:

• Rent
• Phone bill
• Groceries
• Gas
• Plane tickets/travel expenses
• Charitable donations
• Gifts for friends.

It's not about youuuuuuuuu. Shift your focus outward!

• A Christ-centered marriage that is happy and full of love.
• Happy, healthy children who love God.
• See the world with my children and hubbieeee.
• Do some kind of lasting good in Kenya.
• DJ a concert/show/party [something with more than 10 people in attendance]
• Walk the runway once
• Go whale watching
• Learn how to cook well
• Perfect eyeliner!
• Have a hybrid car [again, one day]
• Graduate from USC with honors
• Learn how to knit and/or crochet
• Make a glam quilt
• Bedazzle a top
• Find a great vintage store

• Always be on time. Your time isn't worth more than someone else's time!
• Eat. Just eat.
• Assume strength, not weakness.
• Document (brieg paragraph/bullet points) all of your classes after each quarter/semester so you can remember what you learned. Keep track of books read.

• Galvanize (circa Honors English) - to stimulate in action
• Plutocrat - someone who exercises power by virtue of wealth
• Primogeniture - right of inheritance belongs exclusively to the eldest son
• Recalcitrant - stubbornly resistant to authority or control
• Stochastic - being or having a random variable

Things I'd like to work on during my season of singleness:

• Strengthen existing friendships [In no particular order: Erica, Alex, Zahir, Nina, Lindsey, Eva, Zennia, Jason, JANICE!, Nina, Erina, ELYSE, Carlos?]
• Start sending out copies of Swan Expo again.
  • Make a Swan Expo facebook/twitter!
• Daily QT with my Dad.
• Get better at talking on the phone.

  • With my parents
• Hourly bike ride/week.
• Journal when inspired.
• Calligraphy
• Feel comfortable watching movies alone in a theater.
• Push out of my shell and challenge myself...

I really want to take a calligraphy class but I don't have a routine yet and that scares me. Hopefully in March, I can start.
